bahhh... My corsa would (if it was running right and well on the day) beat an Impreza (fairly mildly modded WRX or STi) on a straight from a rolling start - upto 145 maybe.... or however fast my revs will take me. Maybe give it a try with fee one day

funny that.... a flange was cut off my £500 ceramic coated manifold, to weld the manifold to the system. Nice and simple to remove now! Not. Russ/Gav - any chance of having flanges welded on here like i thought we talked about?

I'm looking for some new suspension for my track car. Does anyone know anywhere in the edinburgh region that will be able to corner weigh the car then supply/fit/recommend suitable poundage springs etc.... then set up the car for track? And also fix my ass happy brake bias once and for all? Does such a place exist up here that will do all that? I've looked at LEDA kits - 1k for the set with springs to order Harry Hockley want 750 just for two front struts with springs. :/ I'd like to get a real idea of what spring rates are needed, although i have been recommended 350lb springs up front. This one is for Fee too.... I've just ordered 048's from WheelsAround, but what are folks opionions on Toyo R888's? They are £67 for 15" from Camskill. They may be handy on her pug And finally..... Any edinburgh region machine shops that will increase the centre bore of a set of alloys to 52mm ( i think they only need increased a few mm to clear)

I think you're crazy.... thats what i think. The gold ROTA wheels are too silmilar to what we have already.... so i dont see the point. Yes.... I understand your point about new tyres... but the tyres you get with the basic wheel/tyre package are'nt exactly great.... Just like your tyres just now... .that arent worn out, just not as grippy as some. On the otherhand i love the BBS LM's..... (think i'll pop some on the supra mehehe)... But they are going to be hitting nearly 3k by the time tyres are added etc Considered BK299's?? Anyone got any pics of classic's with them on?

bloody hell.... havent heard of them for ages... I used them about 6years ago to get some slight alteration to a map on a 1.4 16v vauxhall. Basic stuff like raise the idle limit and lean it off a bit. They didnt do the mapping.... they were just the good old Superchip type folk..... all they did was plug there laptop in, flash the new map across, test.... job done. When i was there it was just basically a farm..... no real garage facilities etc. No complaints though.

aye aye cognogs.... The downpipe may be a turd to get off. It was a right pain in the bottom on the supra... studs had to be heated with a torch etc etc. A re-map would be good.... but what re-maps (if any) can be done on an ECU from a STi IV? Not really wanting a sep/new ECU. Fee: If your wanting a boost controller it would be worthwhile finding out what the std fueling/map can safely fuel? If its marginal at std boost (what is std boost again?) an uprated fuel pump (walbro etc) and regulator would be an idea if you're wanting slightly more, ken.

What plug gap do you recommend? Standard'ish (exhaust, 1 cat) STi IV TypeR

she needs to sort them out too!!! I have bought her two buckets..... I NEEDS a new exhaust manifold (orig cast is cracked) and a new exhaust, or just backbox (i pulled the tail pipe off, whoops) Front half id nearly stripped.... just needs the rear doing and all the junk binning/ebayed

its not upto 230 yet needs more mapping once i get a decent exhaust manifold on.... power is just dying at 6500rpm
