it must have been the wettest and windiest day ever but well done to those that turned up - I think we had 26 scoobies at Yorkhill [] some of the decorations were very OTT but it was worth it - we must have made quite an impact driving through Gla city centre well done everyone that helped raise money, thats an awesome total we've got [Y] its been a well organised 'do' and it was good that we got started early. same again next year then []

i've done the decorations on my rear windscreen and nope, not got the cold cos I had access to my works basement car park - huge space, well light and heated![]

oh, I've finally got the Scottish Scoobies woolly hats [Y], they'll be £10 each. i'll have around 8 of them with me at the Edn Santa Cruise in case anyone wants one.

I'm just pleased that Scottish Scoobies have enough traffic that we've been given 4 different sub-regions. I'm also pleased that Santa Cruise is happening for 3 regions in Scotland. I take your point Craig that perhaps the 3 stickys about Santa Cruise belong better in Events. It also belongs in the main section as it is more than an event, the threads are needed for organisation/notifying people of what i happening. I suppose its a grey area, just as what exactly constitutes the "Off Topic" non-scooby related chat eg are the Scottish Scoobies clothes O/T?? I dont care where Santa Cruise threads are TBH, its just an extra mouse click for me [:|]

up at the crack of dawn this morning to weigh my RA and Squirrel's car. Thanks to James666 for letting us use the weigh bridge at the quarry and can verify the results if needed. my RA came in at....... 1250 kg Squirrel's 555 Ltd edition came in at........ 1250kg !! they weigh the same so we have a tie [:'(] [] [] I'm gutted that my car isnt lighter than Squirrels tho I'm pleased that he's not lighter than me [] Might have been a different story if I had my own heavy cast-iron alloys on instead of the lightweight Advans (thanks again Ally) I guess the winner out of this little competition is Santa Cruise LoL Guess everyone that bet on this will have to cough up seeing as its a tie. good post Alan. I know how powerful these cars are and tend to answer the "how fast have you gone, have you raced anyone" type questions with "not very fast and I've not raced anyone" [:|] This may seem daft/girly/wimpy/a waste of owning a RA but I: a) am sensible when I drive; don't want to have an accident or be caught speeding; c) dont want to spend money I dont have doing things associated with being in an accident (repairing car, increased insurance etc) and d) dont want to be scared to get behind the wheel if *touch wood* anything happens.
