Next week sees the 3rd Aniversary of Colin McRaes death,his son Johnny,Ben Porcelli and Graeme Duncan. This, along with many other dates of deep meaningfull sadness for me will never be forgotten. Booked mine in this Friday at Skidz for double din head unit, front and rear speakers,sub and amp. very impressed with the set up and advice. All Alpine gear so should sound the part. Davie

Thanks for all the replies guys, i will be speaking to my dealer re costs and any effect a modded car has on said warranty. The metasat thingy i will obtain costs and renew as the hassle of changing the unit is too much grief and i get enough of that these days. The breakdown cover i think i ll obtain quotations from subaru assist and RAC/AA then my mind will be made up. Will let you know finally what my choices are and any costs/deals that i manage to do. Well, thats the hawkeye 3 years old next month, 17k miles,no problems apart from new rear struts,new wheels and a battery all under warranty carried out by S&S. Now, i am NOT renewing the car NOR am i getting rid of it as i will be keeping it as a weekend toy, i dont take it on track or ragg it about ( too much). The question is a three parter so common sense answers please? 1, Do i take the extended warranty and if so what are the advantages/disadvatages? 2, Do i have to continue with the metasat tracker ( i want to keep it tracked) or can i switch companies, any ideas? 3. Subaru assist, do i continue or do i just cover it with the likes of the AA/RAC? Thanks in advance for any assistance. PS i am not modding the car any further nor spending any money on it ie ICE or styling so dont say save the warranty cash and spend it modding. Davie
