i have a tsl firestorm and love it, childish i know but i can drive round a car park and set loads of car alarms off

up for a good cause

On the industrial estate where i work we have a contractor from essex, over the last 6 months we have been having a go at each others cars for the most part how much quicker his was than my 95 wrx. Well yesterday he got louder in my place of work and it was decided by my friends that we should settle it for once and for all. Unbeknown to me he bought in his m3 rather than his van today and their was tension all morning, at one o'clock my mate called him over for a race (needless to say i was nervous) we both backed up to a speed hump the next speed hump was probably 200 yards away. We planned to race to the next speed hump. My m8 (a spectator) dropped his arm i dumped my clutch at 3000rpm and beat him by two maybe three car lengths. He had his traction control off and it was in the damp but oh my god what a feeling. He was subdued for the rest of the day. Childish maybe but in a way it was the first time i'd seen a return on all the money i have spent on the car. Needless to say even though at the back of my mind i realise he would have had me if it had been dry i still can't stop smiling.

<< Guys, Was driving through Swanley (Kent), took a roundabout fairly steadily this evening and then planted it a bit too quickly when exiting the round about. How scared was I!!!! Weaving all over the place. Probably a bit early to be doing that as I have only had the car a week. Si >> I did the exact same thing as a new owner a year ago now, taught me a valuable lesson. You should have to have some kind of lesson really before you move up to a car 200bhp and above.

I got bird flu today, i know it's bird flu coz i've started talking boll0cks and i couldn't park the car!
