  1. Miss Squad taught both he and his brother to dance. They both like a bit of dirt tracking funny enuf.
  2. Oooh-ehrrrr father. Some nice cars, but also an awful lot of tree smashing boy racers unfortunately :+/
  3. Guys my home address is Dumfries so will struggle to get to most meets anyways.
  4. Story of your life that ^^^..... Just sayin Answer to Gordons question in another thread, I'm away on holiday just now (Saga tours)
  5. Done it 2yrs ago. Best thing ever iny life. Optical express. Can gat you a discount, pm me. Do it you won't regret it. Gaz
  6. To be fair taff, there's not many Scooob drivers behave like that. Everyone in my work gave me a ribbing when I bought the Wagon but the reality is, the majority of owners are enthusiasts, thus responsible drivers. It's a bit of an unfair tag really. Will watch out for this one though as I work in the area a lot of the time.
  7. Don't know how kuhmos perform on scoobs Gordon but they were dreadful on my old Civic TypeR. I wouldn't advise them.
  8. I wouldn't touch that with a barge pole, but that's just my experience. I'd put my mortgage on it one of the bores will have had atmospheric dampness in it during that time, unless you can garuntee all the valves were closed. You'd be shocked how much condensation will have been in there in damp conditions. High chance of corrosion in the bore buddy. .
  9. Just drove down from Glasgow and passed through 4 mobile speed traps. Watch out.
  10. Tiz lovely Wheels will be an absolute pain to clean though haha.
  11. I'll probs be there. Usually head into scrutineering at the ice bowl. Get close to the old classic Mexicos Usually a nice 6R4 there. Next best sound to a Scoob if you ask me.
  12. I wouldn't tell the Mrs about this if I were you...
  13. Good to know as that's what's on my wagon all round. Feels pretty sure footed to me for a bigish car. I used to run Toyo's on my RS Clio and they were spot on for that. Miss Bombsquad has Contis on her VXR Corsa and it handles like a go kart. Probably more down to its size but you're looking at averaging 8000 on the fronts, and that's taking it easy. What mileage were you getting from the Proxes?
  14. Ooops. It just looked faulty on my phone. I was gonna offer you my spare. My bad. Haha Like this car a lot. . .
  15. As a biker of over 20yrs I think DRLs are a good thing. They look super bright and I can see why some road users might find them annoying. But if it means people that have thier eyes painted on actually see you, that's a small price to pay is it not.
  16. I used to build classic cars. Unless you have a heated garage they can be a bit problematic after being laid up for winter. I have 3cars too but to be honest, the monthly outlay isn't that much more for the 3rd car. I couldnt park up my Scoob for 6mths anyway. I tried it with my Honda TypeR and even the ultra reliable Civic needed de fluffed and freeing up. Besides all that, you really miss the fun of driving it now and then. I wouldn't do it again.
  17. Of course I let her drive it. Just enuf to save her taking the wheels off to clean the brake calipers.
  18. Hmmmmm, Might let Miss Bombsquad drive the scoob afterall than.....(rubs chin)
  19. Looks spot on buddy. I really like the black roof & wheels on a white car look. For some daft reason I thought Sun strips were an MOT failure though? I'm sure there's rules on it but can't remember what they are. You'd need to be a pretty anal examiner right enough.
  20. That really is a very nice fitting head unit indeed. The stock item ruins music, but I'm guessing that's down to the standard speakers? Funny you should suggest ACDC Gordon, coz I put Back in Black on yesterday and thought, things need to change in here
  21. It was 35s on 20s I was running. Dropped to 19s and 45 profile now. Night and day. Car looks great though.
  22. Nice. I was running tyres that low on my van last year, total nightmare what with more potholes than tarmac! Welcome along. Gaz.
