    4Th May Postponed

i think i will be going. i am up there next week doing a refresher day at at the hill climb.
  3. sorry guys, now working next weekend so no show for me.
  4. looks like I'll be around on that weekend (unless the work schedule changes)
  5. :thumbs:I came to one of the lechlade meets last year and it was good so lets do it again
  6. possibly, I will check my diary at work and see if I'm here that weekend.
  7. :thumbs:take the cost of a decent oil burner and use it to do an LPG conversion on the scoob.
  8. merry Christmas t' all op norf from me dan souf!
  9. good luck. tell us what it's like before and after the mods have been done?
  10. good to know - cheers
  11. too right
  12. Bosch filter and triple qx 5w30 fully synthetic.
  13. did mine yesterday and followed the 'fill up the filter first' and foot to the floor to dry crank the engine routine which is something I have never done before but thought i'd give it a go. didn't seem to make a difference to the dry filer then start the car routine but better be safe than sorry I suppose. I couldn't believe how black the oil was after 6k miles so will be doing it more often from now on.
  14. I was reading somewhere (I'll try and find the article) that was talking about the SS unequal headers and saying they tend to have much less of the burble at tickover and sound like a superbike at higher revs, more like equal length. if I find it, I'll send you the link.
  15. also, if you have sagging you can heat the leather with a hairdryer and it will shrink back to original. there are lots of videos on YouTube showing how to do it properly.
  16. tell me about it!
  17. I use Autoglym leather cleaner and a soft nail brush to clean then Autoglym conditioner applied in a heavy coat, leave overnight then buff off the next day. I have used this stuff on my wife's old Mercedes, her current coupe and our BMW Z3, all with good results.
  18. well, I have to work in a little while so i'm not going to make it after all. see you next time.
  19. I may have to work so i'll be there if i can but if not, see you next time.
  20. i'm hoping to be there too.....anyone else going????
  21. ok, i'll plan a small run for the evening and those that want to go can, those that don't can continue with the meet in the car park give me a shout on the sunday run, I love planning drive outs
  22. how many would be up for a little (10 mile or so) drive out on the night? it would take about 1/2 hour and take in some good country roads.
  23. List started 14th June meet 1. Bakerzone 2. Matty 3. Logger 4. Mugs
  24. yeah, I might just do that. I've worked out my shift pattern and the only evening ones I can do is June 13th / 14th but I should be fine for any of the Sunday's and then if anyone is up for it, I can let loose with organising a drive out
  25. ok, you're not into proper drive outs then? proper ones consist of evening being 20 - 30 miles, sundays 80-100 miles and mid summer runs 180-250 miles all at a good (law abiding) pace on country B roads with stops for coffee etc. not everyone's cup of tea but most enjoy them. all are meticulously planned on mapsourse, checked after being transposed onto Google earth and downloaded to my satnav so the route is followed to the tee. I will do a small one of about 10 miles and if anyone's up for it, you can see what you think.
