as its our 7 year anniversary the day. i was thinking if she was a car would i have traded her in by now as i do with my cars. well to be fai i dont see me doing that with the present scoob but the mrs........ wel..... her chassis not bad for her age tho interior is a bit worn, ( if you know what i mean?) fuel economy has gotten better since she started a diet but in all think i will stick with her as she moves real well where it counts. also according to her dad the warrinty is well out now and no returns now. hopefully with some tlc shes good for a few more years yet

dont know the reg as the plates were off the car dave. maybe give the boy a call to see what it was and contact brian. thing is with it the engine has not run for 18 mths since car was written off and it been lying outside all this time. tho the bonnet is still on and engine seemed dry

might try sky too dave. and only got 4 yrs ncd paul. but it fairness i think the adrian flux one for 500 with all mods declared and everything will take some beating

maybe got chance of a 380 brake engine that was apperently owned and tweeked by downie. has anyone ever come across one before and what like?

got a quote from... ahem.... subaru owners club ( sorry but thought would try them ) and got a quote for 500 with a lower excess and monthly payments. still waiting for gary to call back but maybe offices shut now so will try the morn when i get home from work

think the issue is when the cars are well modded. a lot of companys wont look at mine for what been done. or can get for £ 9908 dont fekkin think so. where the likes of hyper performance and the like of keith michels deal with those sort of motor so probably standard companys would be better

cheers will give them a bell. seem if i put my volentry exces to zero then total ecess is 650 but premium goes up by a hundred quid . put it up to 500 volentry and total exess is 950 but quote is cheaper . dont get that like. tis worth sometimes calling a few direct and make them bid against each other sometimes gordon. will try a few. heard sky ins is supposed to be good too

just got renewal in and nearly double what i was last year. what the so got hold of alexander orlof and he redirected me to performance direct who have quoted me £550 fully comp and that with me also adding on the recent mods too just happened to scroll down the page and there were only 8 companys that would quote and the very last one 'insure 2 drive ' ( i dont fekkin think so after the quote!!!!) quoted £9908!!!!! who looks at that and thinks ' oooo thats a great price and i will pay that ' ehhh?????????? anybody recomend trying elsewhere before i commot. as renewal is 12 june. tho think it would be hard to beat that like.

got a hell of a scare the day. drove i nto aberdeen in my usaul rally style, and when car was ticking over on timer there was a hell of a rattle'knocking from under the bonnet. big ends??/ popped the bonnet and the crank pulley is wobbling all over the place. engine stops by now and when i put my hand on it the crank bolt was almost off!!!!!! went a bit weak at the knees at the thought of what the end result would have been if bolt had come out when i was nipping on. tightened it back up and seems ok just not sure why it worked loose tho

with this gear box................. its not that bad i suppose. it has a hell of a top end now just dont like having to keep her in boost lol
