  1. I have Launch Control, auto blip and flat shift on mine when in race map, pops and bangs a bit too. Could Jane arrange with the neighnours that they do not get upset if we do a rev up when we arrive? That should tell the little lad that something is happening outside his place - but we do not want to upset them all on a Sunday morning. We will also need room to get all of the cars into the road and probably close it off for a while as we get him on board. Is it a through road? I suppose I better clean the car as well then, lol.
  2. There is a new Travelodge in Paignton just around the corner from me You can convoy to exeter with me then!
  3. Fantastic!! And a bag of chips sounds good too.
  4. Local television at Exeter services? Spotlight? ITV? or at Newquay?
  5. hmm do we need flags for the cars too? Depending on how many cars do we need to inform local plods along the route so they know what we are doing and do not get lively with us? Maybe one of the forces would have a Scoob pursuit car to escort us part of the way?
  6. dunno if it would be possible but could we relay him in sections by different cars, say start with a classic saloon, then wagon, then bug of each then blob of each, then hawk of each followed by hatch and finally new saloon? Probably too much for him and too difficult to organise but just a thought. we could all join in a convoy at various points along the journey, just like the McRae run did.
  7. I am coming from Paignton so probs Exeter services are better for me.
  8. I am free that weekend too. The Spec T is ready to rumble pop and bang through Newquay too . Will see if we can get a convoy from this area too. Are you limiting the number of cars or is it to be a massed turn out - just because we can? Roll on the sunshine and V power. Just let us know Saturday 16th or Sunday 17th. Terry
  9. Really sorry to hear this. I do not think it was because you had an STi per se and you were probably just unlucky. I hope they catch the bast*rd* who done this and get the filth behind bars.
  10. Put up a date and I will see what I can do!
  11. Maybe it is a ringer?
  12. My 06 plate Hawk is £445 but my mates is 5 weeks older so is paying around £285. Same model his has had more done to it and runs at well over 400bhp but mine costs a lot more because of the cut off date for the tax change. Mine was first registered 3rd May 2006 His was March 2006

    Result :)

Guys, JD is the only one NOT driving his car at the moment
  23. Now that looks nice and mean, I want to do that too!! Was it easy getting the headlight units apart? I went to Scoobyworld and have done cat back afterburner with the Ninja2 back box. Sure it was cheaper than that. I have not found any droning inside my Hawkeye. Nice pops n bangs and turbo noises now especially with the Forge BOV. Guys there will be changes to the MOT next year, so keep a hold of any cats you remove!! It may be that if you have your cats removed that it will be an automatic failure even if you pass the emissions test. Other things like tow bars and electrics will be included as well. I think it may be coming in April but not too sure.
  24. sorted
  25. oooh, dodgy - unless you take her for a nice romantic meal and a cruise on a the river Dart and maybe a ride on a steam train with champagne, I am sure she would not notice the slight excursion via Exmoor and an unexpected large quantity of Imprezas all sightseeing at the same time.
