  1. Hi Pete long time no see
  2. If anyone has an idea of a date and I will check my diary I do NOT want to drive up onto the moors. I am in Paignton. I was thinking of something like Polperro or Bridport areas.
  3. As above really. I fancy a day out wasting some fuel - as does Cap'n Jerry. Anyone else up for it? Maybe a trip to the seaside somewhere if the weather is good!
  4. Good luck, as badbaz says it is quite a common fault on various cars and simple to fix as well as relatively cheap.
  5. So what are your torque figures like then mate? They are probably more important on the roads around here than the absolute bhp. You can see what my limited mods did. I was very pleased with the torque figures. The decat downpipe made the biggest difference imho.
  6. It is relatively easy to do yourself, will save you around £60 at most Scoobapoo garages.
  7. yep, still want to do it. Also want to do Yeovilton and Middle Wallop
  8. Sorry all, gonna knock this on the head, everyone else who wanted to go has now pulled out (as per usual) and that leaves just Plodster and me. Not worth my while driving 100 miles on my own. Will try somewhere else after Christmas. Please send ideas and I will see if I can organise it.
  9. Must be someone else interested in going? I always try to do a military museum at this time of year in rememberance of those who fought for and with us. I will personally be remembering friends no longer with us but who would have loved to see this museum.
  10. Good idea - now how do I do that?

  12. OK, still trying to confirm numbers! I think I have six cars going so far, but this is in constant flux, lol
  13. oops I meant .82 bar for normal running and .93 for race map
  14. woo hoo, good on you. Mine runs at around 8.2 psi but is a 2006 WRX so I guess that is about right. If it drives good then that should be ok. If you can ever afford a re-map maybe that would be good for the car too.
  15. Sometimes boost gauges cause problems too!
  16. the flat spot sounds like an air leak. The fins on the intercooler will make no difference to your problem. The fault code will tell you there is a problem in a system but not always the component that is faulty. If you have the same codes with the new ecu then you can eliminate the ecu. I am afraid that trying to do this on your own is going to be damn near impossible unless you know your diagnostics. I would say you need a specialist as well. Maybe someone from here can help you out. to me it sounds like more than one fault, maybe fuelling, plus air leak plus maybe an electrical problem. Good luck.
  17. There is southwest transmissions at lee mill.
  18. Did you change all of those bits as guess work or did you plug in a scanner to get any fault codes? A diagnostic test may help if you have not done one yet. At least you will know if there is anything logged in the ecu. The fact that you changed that and the other bits but it has not fixed it suggests maybe a wiring problem somewhere between the various sensors and the ecu. Maybe a mechanical setup problem too. There is so much to check. Have you done a service recently? Cambelt change? What is the fuel consumption like?
  19. Keith Michaels Insurance - Spot On!!

  20. I might be able to aquire some C4, lol
