well after owning a couple of scoobies i have finally had the dreaded bottom end knock happen.shame as engine only done 61k and is a closed deck block one.have got a low mileage 97 engine to go in but damned if i can find a folding engine crane to hire at prices less than i can buy one for! anyone in the plymouth area got one to rent for a day or 2 for some beer tokens??? oh and i also have a mint standard closed deck block for sale as well.

have been into reasons on another forum and ended up with abusive messages that only stopped when i threatened to post them for all to see.99% of the lads are great espcially martyn but 1 person and their attitude lets them down.sad really as intend getting loads done maybe even big build on my cdb lump.

just crunches from 2-3 and 4-5 if i change too fast so looks like synchros gone,rest of box fine and only done 61,000 miles.

have got the dreaded crunch in 2nd -3rd and 4th-5th on my scoob.is it worth getting it rebuilt or just get another box??? any good places for prices etc around plymouth as all the places i know wont touch a scooby

just done m y new wheels that picked up nice and cheap.always makes cars look so much better with nice shiny wheels on it.

havnt got press to change just the bearing and funds short at the mo as just started own business.

hi all.got mental squeaking on my 93 wrx from the n/s/f hub.have worked out its the wheel bearing buggered.has anyone got a spare hub they want to sell or is breaking a scooby?

Intend at some point but just need car running now as got no other transport

car has run crap for a while now and only noticed how bad the number 2 and 4 coil packs were after taking the plugs out to check them.have done full test on the wiring loom,ignitor and just down to old age as original coil packs so good to have lasted 18 years! how much for your 2 coil packs and where you to???

my 93 wrx died on me yesterday and after lots of checking and head scratching have found that 2 of my coil packs are dead.has anybody got any spare?????

hi everyone. thought would join and say hi. i have a 97 uk classic.running full hks system,headers and up-pipe,induction kit,newage wrx intercooler and walbro pump. have just got a Hybrid SBC-D-RX boost controller and having problems wiring it into the ecu.not after loads of boost just be nice to have it on low for the mrs driving and up to 1.1-1.2bar for me to play with. the instructions show the ecu for a wrx and mine has an 8S ecu so slightly different, anybody got a wiring diagram for a uk car?
