I'm pretty sure most people ( myself included ) are looking forward to the new software being introduced ..... This announcement has been a long time in the making , but i'm sure it'll be worth the wait. I also hope that with the introduction of the new facilites , this will herald a new era for SIDC & Scottish Scoobies ...... I would also urge members to put aside any differences for the sake of the community & help us make this place a totally magnificent , stupendous , fantastic , & almighty success !!!!!!!! We have some exciting events coming up in 2006 , most notably the Richard Burns Memorial Relay & the proposed National Meet , also with the new list of trackdays announced & Crail just around the corner plus the ever growing number of local meets....... it promises to be a great year !!! I'm also looking forward to welcoming the new moderator , whoever it may be & wish * him / her / them (* delete as appropriate ) every success & an easy time of it. ROLL ON 2006 ........ I currently have a " Rottweiler Interactive Security System" which gaurds the scoob ....... it has 3 settings ...... SETTING No. 1 -- SLEEP MODE SETTING No. 2 -- ACTIVE GAURD MODE SETTING No. 3 -- DE-ACTIVATED / CONFUSED MODE Ally ( & Diesel ) LOL !!!

If no-one buys it Chris ......... .......... may I suggest you break it for spares ?? I'll take the ........ "very well maintained plug" off your hands !!! - What colour is it ?? - Does it come with a very well maintained cable ?? - what kind of fuse is it ........ Prodrive approved 13 amp?? - Might be a deal-clincher if you happen to offer it with some very well maintained screws & the wee plastic bit to hold the cable. Would you , (by any chance ) be interested in a part exchange for a not so well maintained AC adaptor & a chewed USB cable ??? Let me know !!!

the RAC trackstar has an option ( IIRC ) ....... it's called "speedsafe" it basically bleeps when you go over the speed limit or approach static camera's. This option is only available when you call up RAC and get it activated. maybe it's been activated by mistake ( I had nothing but trouble with my RAC trackstar .... so nothing these monkey's do would surprise me !!) IIRC -- the P1's are listed as 2000 model, but some are registered in 2001 and on a Y plate same with some RB5 's which is a 1999 model on a T reg. but there are V plate ones . might just be a case of something similar happend here with this WR1 ???
