  2. the link has been removed from streetfire. I saw the video before it was removed, the drivers mates filmed the car after the crash at the scrapyard, and unfortunately the driver died. He had an argument with his girlfriend and was drinking shots all night and she let him get in the car.

  8. I spent ages going round shops looking at different models and ended up in the Sony Center. The 32" wega lcd one I got blew away all the plasmas in the store at the time. This was a year ago though and it's not hd ready [] Still great all rounder though! My father in law has since bought a nice sony wega hd ready one and it's very nice indeed..
  9. welcome to SIDC mate []
  10. Andy, I'm car-less on Saturday, but if you can get to mine (Uphall) on Saturday, I'll be happy to help (weather permitting) []
  11. nice find Ac!D. You are correct about the Scooby trademark, Hanna-Barbera Productions, Inc have indeed registered to trademark the name Scooby. This trademark covers pretty much everything under the sun including "publication of printed matter and recordings". Whatever the new plans are for the magazine, I'm sure subscribed members will be sorted out first. Jon is a top bloke and I wish him all the best with his future plans!
  12. lol sorry to hear about the car Stephen, pain in the b-hind []
  13. oops, just though, we may be visited by the men in black and accused of being terrorists or something, maybe we shouldn't post any more..
  14. anyone watch room 101 last week? Sir Alan Sugar was on it, he put "American English" into room 101 because his wife was shopping in new york. She asked a sales lady in a shop if she could try the dress on with the dots, pardon the sales woman says, the dress with the dots, can I try it on, pardon? THAT DRESS, CAN I TRY IT ON.. you mean the one with the polkadots, speak english maam, she says... arghhh, don't you just love americans... I'm sure some are nice, but generally they get right on my t1ts
  15. just found this snippet from this site: George got in way over his head when the reporter started needling him on details. He ended up sounding like he hadn't quite finished reading through the whole pile of briefing papers yet: GOVERNOR BUSH: The new Pakistani General, he's just been elected -- not elected, this guy took over office. It appears this guy is going to bring stability to the country and I think that's good news for the subcontinent. JOURNALIST: And you can name him? GOVERNOR BUSH: General... I can name the general. JOURNALIST: And it's...? GOVERNOR BUSH: "General." JOURNALIST: And the Prime Minister of India? GOVERNOR BUSH: The new Prime Minister of India is... [pause] No. Immediately, you know what Bush is thinking: What the hell is this? Suddenly it's time to regurgitate a bunch of names that nobody's ever heard of? Book knowledge has got nothing to do with real leadership. But when Bush tried to turn the tables on the little smartass, it didn't go well: GOVERNOR BUSH: Can you name the Foreign Minister of Mexico? JOURNALIST: No sir, but I would say to that: I'm not running for President.[:@]
  16. interesting video Bob, watching it just now.. Why anyone would vote for someone who can't even say Nuclear correctly is beyond me, just listen to bush the next time you see him on tv... nucular, or is it new-clear, "what the hell is that word Condolezza"

  18. it can be upgraded [] Not sure how safe that would be though.
  19. Nice motor you got there John [] I though gold wheels came as standard on all 06's?
  20. Cheers for the advice guys. Stephen, I found a site selling it for £110 plus delivery and customs charges, seems not too bad to me [] I've got an ipod, so may look into other options, but I do fancy the wireless idea though...
  21. Stephen, it's the Rockford Fosgate Omnifi DMP1. Pitty about the head unit, so I'd have to buy a new one too then?
  22. Buenas noches, I was pondering on the idea of getting a wireless head unit so I can transfer music from my pc while sitting in my driveway, but after reading the fitting instuctions they say "The player's cable (about 16 feet) connects to a small hideaway module; it has a fuse, two RCA jacks for analog stereo output, four leads for battery, ignition, ground, and illumination, and an output socket." Does the standard head unit have an input for such a device? Is it possible to have this wired to the battery? I would probably take it to somewhere like MRD in Bathgate to get fitted, but just wondered if it would be possible to fit such a thing without trashing my new car... Mucho gracias
