Aarrggh! Nightmare. Never had any probs fitting my H&S to the oem downpipe.........but then I never fitted it myself, the garage did so who knows if they had any issues or not. Hope it works out for you. I agree, I would expect a perfect fit if advertised for that particular car.

Hi. Do you mean this bit? If so then I got a replacement from the dealer. You'll need 2 plastic screwy thingys that the dealer can get for you to hold it on, plus I used a sticky fixer as well i think so it wouldnt come off. Just make sure its the right one for your car as I was sent out one that was too big??? That dealer said 'you might need to bend it too fit in right'. Cleary not right as the holes didnt match up. A differnt main dealer sorted me with the right one for my car. Cheers.

Never used Ace tyres but if the price is right??? I havent ever found Skidz to have the most customer friendly service. The best price i got for my last tyres was Mcconechys, better price then Camskill, Blackcircles etc!

Just giving a shout out for AUTOBAHN garage in Greenock. Great bunch of helpful lads. Ive taken both my cars over there for bits n pieces. Great prices, knowledgable about all things turbo as the guys are enthusiasts whilst being a mainstream garage. They recently fitted a boost gauge for me. I had a few teething troubles with it but the guys bent over backwards to make sure a solution was found. I popped by the other week so that I could ask if they would stick the car on the ramp for me so I could set about polishing my exhaust, cleaning up the flaps, polishing the alloys, putting some new decals on, then hand polished the whole car all from the comfort of the ramp as I have a back/leg condition that prevents me from really getting down about the ground. I was there til about 9pm and all free gratis for the use. To me that was a godsend. If you are in the area and are needing garage services you could do alot worse than giving these guys a shout. Im wondering if this can be added to just one of the maps I have in my car at the mo??? I have the usual switchable maps via de-mister that Andy F does. Soz if this has kind of been answered earlier in the thread, just wishing to clarify.

When looking around for an Impreza the second bugeye I went to look at had the Black Diamond set up, otherwise the car was standard. I recall it stopping well, but I didnt get to drive it myself nor did we get to warp speed either. Seemed fine though. I didnt go for that one as its price was a bit high and it was silver which was not my preferred choice.

Admiral has been the way to go for me for the last few years.

Cheers, very tempting. Already been Andy F'd so maybe just a tweak to add it in. I did get pops n bangs when I changed my backbox to the afterburner, this with the standard downpipe. Since the snakehead is on it bangs less but still pops sometimes, although Im sure not in anyway to the extent of having it mapped on! Screw the neighbours!!

This is something ive thought about. Do like the pops and bangs. Ive heard you can get it mapped to do so. Can anyone explain to me how this actually works and why? Let me know if you get this done, and what Andy F has to say about it. Cheers.

Hi. Just give them both a call and see which one is the most competitive. Not sure how long it takes, I usually just leave mine in for a morning or afternoon. 02 wrx as well.

Spoilerless can look good IMO. Not sure about about the side skirts. I dont know how that would look but worth trying it out to see. Either way will be good to see the pics up when your done.

I hadnt thought about it just being painted as it had the matt black wrapped look to it. That sounds even worse. Yeah, classic rear seats if im not mistaken.

Im not normally one for putting down another car, each to their own and all that, but happened upon this impreza, and being a bugeye owner thought I would post this up. I kind of dont know what the heck is going on with this, the wrapping doesnt look that well done, the spoiler, the interior. Have a look, you'll get the gist... blak bug

Think that will certainly brighten up the front of the car.
