  14. No I havent TBH, will need to try that out. Car not a daily driver at all, so prob not as bad for someone using it everyday etc. Hi Peter. Ive heard Richies wagon which I believe is a full meercat system and ive found this clip on the tube of a meercat exhaust... I think this car is from down my way as well. I would imagine if/when I take this further I will prob get willie to fit it anyway with the way the downpipe was made for my car.
  15. Quick general question? How obvious is this knocking sound that ive heard about? Do you hear it all the time or only at certain times? Sometimes had a slight noise from left rear a year ago, wasnt very obvious and only heard it at very low speed over a gravel, rough road. Had it chkd and everything was ok. Since had rear droplinks and bar fitted. Everything ok. Just wondering thanks.
  16. I have an exhaust dilemma. Currently have a meercat custom 3" downpipe with sportscat goin to 2.5", joining to a 2.5" H&S centre to 2.5" Afterburner backbox. After being behing a couple of scoobs running the nur spec r set up im seriously considering going for that. So, do I get the Blitz nur spec r cat back and join it to my meercat downpipe, which would mean that I will have a 3" downpipe, going to 2.5", then joining the nur spec r which i think is 2.5" going out to 3" along the centre pipe. In effect i will have a bigger exhaust at both ends with 2.5" in the middle. Is this feasible, is it a disaster, is it a daft idea??!! Will it explode in my face lol? Or should I get meercat do just do me a 3" centre going to a 3" back box. They have made my downpipe in such a way that it can be cut where it goes to 2.5" so that a 3" centre pipe can be fitted. TBH im just thinking that i wont get that nur spec sound which seems quite tasty if I go meercat. With custom exhausts how much input can you really get to get the sound you want? What happens if they build it for you and once its on you think, nope, not the sound i was looking for?? I have heard a couple of meercat systems and it wasnt quite the sound i am looking for. I thought the meercat systems i heard werent as low rev rumbly as the nur spec r seems to sound. Any input, opinions please. thanks.
