  3. Hi. Nice blob. Think those are Inovite alloys, what size are they ( aah they are 18's, just noticed the end text ) and how do you find them? Was thinking of them for mine. Cheers Mark
  4. Happy b'day m8. Gave you a flash last thurs a'noon in Bonnybridge on my way to Dunc, if it was indeed the GB340?
  5. Cheers guys. Top hose, the one in the pic, had worn and eventually a hole had appeared. Did look as though it had rubbed on something? New one on and it doesnt touch anything as I would expect but will keep an eye on it. Did leave the garage and after about a mile and a half experienced same steam? coming out the front . Phoned the garage and they drove straight up to see me, which was good of them, and they said it was prob water in the undertray etc ( I had just driven up a hill ). I let it cool then they followed me back to my home in case it happened again. A tiny bit of steam this time then fine, so hope its okay now. New coolant in tomorrow
  6. Leak traced to top hose. New one on tomorrow so fingers crossed it will be all good. Cheers !
  7. Pulled on to the hard shoulder y'day bout 6pm just before Glasgow airport M8 after I noticed smoke? coming out the back of the car. Once stopped plenty smoke/steam coming from the front and sides of bonnet. Put the gf and woof up the grass and noticed rusty coloured fluid coming out from front of car, see pics. Lifted the bonnet and plenty of browny fluid over the front of the engine bay as can be seen. Chap came out and had a look and said it was water and antifreeze, then took us and the car home. So anyone any ideas what might have happened and how bad it may be? I really wouldnt know tbh. Mind you, I did spot about 5 scoobs going both ways over the hour we were freezing our butts off waiting on the man. Anyone?
  8. QUOTE (DR Motosport @ Oct 16 2009, 01:42 PM) miles ahead of Toyo T1R's. Dont know much about tyres and the like but have formed the opinion that toyo t1rs are the choice for imprezas, this just from what I have read not personal experience, so interested in why you wouldnt recommend them? Cheers
  9. Dirt,Dirt 2, Race Driver: Grid. Tried Need for Speed Shift and looks great. Didnt like need for Speed Pro street. PS3 for me.
  10. Hi I have subaru roof bars and the Mont Blanc cycle carrier. Let me check if all the bits are there for it and let me get back to you. I received the bars from the previous owner of my bugeye. They are well used but I assume it all works properly. I will check it out. Guess they would fit a blobeye? wouldnt be looking for an awful lot for them. Let me check them out. Cheers
  11. Take the turn off for Braehead and go round under the m-way and past Makro on your left and go along a short distance and Harvester is on the right. You cant really miss it. Welcome. Ive only been on here a few months.
  12. Yep, thats a really small plate m8. Nice bug. Nightmare. Hi Barry. How goes it? Yeah really like that. Think its the one for me. 3/4 size. Cool. I ordered some back issues of Total Impreza and found your bug in one of the issues. Nice Thanks for the comments and photos guys.
  13. Thanks empty heed. Was it someone round here who fitted them for you?
  14. Its a uk car. Was thinking of something diff than standard but equally dont want any unwanted attention ahem Standard square could be good.
  15. Does anyone have non standard plates on their car? Smaller plates or bike style plates? Have you had any bother with having them on? If anyone has any pics that would be great, especially bugeyes? Thankin U.
  16. Thinking of putting either of these on my car. Standard suspension just now. What is the ride like? How does it feel on the road etc? Any feedback from anyone with these springs greatly appreciated. Or any other suggestions? Cheers people.
  17. Was down staying in Ayr for a few days, couple of months ago and decided to go into them on the off chance that they would have a wee part I was needing. Never been there before. Was just one young guy I dealt with at the parts dept and couldnt have been more helpful. Was just a wee part from my boot, less than a quid I needed and they had them in stock. Had a wee chat and left happy. Im comparing them to another Subaru dealer who checked this part out for me, had to order it and ordered the wrong part for me amongst other errors, so in that respect I was impressed with them. As far as servicing etc dont know but their prices for services etc were more reasonable than other Subaru dealers for the same service, when I have phoned them in the past. Cheers.
  18. Not got it yet. Ive played them all since the first Colin McRae on PS1.
  19. Im more than happy with the figures. The GF is a fan too so not too much of a problem I hope lol. Cheers. Let the addiction commence !!
  20. Cheers guys. Its a 02 wrx. Already had Hayward & Scott centre and backbox and a panel filter. Last wed/thurs had decat up-pipe and decat 2nd pipe added, both H & S. Uprated fuel pump added too and the resonator/airbox removed. I can hear the whoosh now. Great. And I can hear the OE value too. Really happy with it all. Took it out for a wee blast 2nite. Love it.
  21. Alright. Yep , day went well. Put the car into Hypertech on the wed teatime for some goodies. Picked it up on thurs morn. Dunc had to go to Subaru in the morning for a gasket or ring, was one left! Lucky! Drove down to Port Seton for 1pm. Met Andy and remap commenced. He attached his wires etc to the car then we headed out to the A1. Rain was pouring down so it was difficult to speed up and down during the map. turned off and headed back the way on the B road, then back on to the A1. Rain was worse now. Couldnt see a bloody thing but added to the experience ha. Back on to the B road. Was getting the revs up a bit and chatting to Andy about the map and what he was doing etc. When he told me to hit the gas and he put the high boost , well some difference I thought. Excellent. Up and down a couple more times then did the road dyno. so got an average on the 2 runs of 273bhp 300lb/ft so well happy with that. Thought Andy was a nice guy and open to my daft questions. Headed back to the Port through the downpours and flooded roads and removed the bits and pieces than head off home. Great experience and more than happy with what I got from the remap. Car feels great and fairly pulls along when required. So cheers to Andy F and Cheers to Dunc, Alex and the boys at Hypertech too !! Marko 72, over and out.
  22. There are a couple of car parks along there. As far as I know they are public and free.
