  1. Here's a similarly related question. If you heatwrap or ceramic coat a turbo to keep radiated heat in, will it not increase the running temp of the turbo and shorten its life span?

YES it will shorten the life of most turbo's out there. But there is turbos that can handle the hotter temps.

  2. You coming to Crail in March Colin (plasatan2) , Peter Fai17, JAC will all be there ?? ohh and me :P and lots of other names so appologies all of the cars are all 11 sec cars whos has the 10 sec car ...

    Chris,

My car is no way a 10 sec car, i have 520bhp Max and in 1.5 ton car/driver it's not going to happen in a newage with that power and a lard ass like mine

I can't wait to see the outcome from yours, Scott, Peter, Colin's in March It's going to be fun :D

  3. Gav, your job is to promote the cars you sell in the best possible light and cannot be seen to say anything bad about IM or the network or indeed the product. I on the other hand just say what i see and what i see is an inferior product being offered to the UK punters, this Cosworth variant should help improve the top end of the STI market but a case of too little too late.

All the limited editions you mentioned were inferior products to the equivilent model from Japan

    Series McRae...210bhp..................................................STI RA V-Limited.....276bhp

Bugeye Prodrive Style Type UK PPP...305bhp..................Prodrive Style.........300bhp

    RB320.............................................320bhp..................Type RA-R..............330bhp Est

I would have been more impressed if IM had brought the RHD specials from Japan and sold them with full UK approval.

STI RA, V-Limited, 555 Wagon, RA, Type SA, Toshi Arai Version, S201, S202, S203, S204, STI Carbon, Petter Solberg Edition, Limited, Type KL GL and ZL Blobeye, Prodrive Style

All superior drivers car to the product IM offers the UK market.

Oh yes there is one good thing IM has done and thats the Bright button located conveniently on the centre console, stroke of genius that one. JDM gets a DCCD set up and we get a Bright button

    x

Ma bug prodrive UK from factoty was 305bhp...

  4. You can enter in to a championship and just do what ever event suits, that way you will have practically guaranteed there will be a space for you.

It's free entry as well to newcomers :)

Sorry, should have mentioned the lowland champ as those buggers up North have all the money :(

  5. Soz to jump on the thread is there nothing that i can do when im home like a sprint or Hill Climb that does not need the commitment of a whole season as i work 9 months out the country.. would love to have a crack at this

    Cheers

  6. All joking aside, it's a big commitment both financialy and mentaly to do a season in any hill/sprint championship it's a big step but one that will

give you one hell of a ride. I wish i did it years ago. As Phil said read both sites you will get all the info there.

Always keep in mind this is grass roots motorsport and just a bit of fun at the weekend.
