  1. Have to agree with this my dad who is not a fast car person had a shot of the impreza and was quickly doing 3 figures. He then agreed for the first time ever the reason a young person would buy an Impreza. He drove it when it was bog standard. He is going to get some shock when he gets a shot and the power has doubled and the weight dropped by 200kgish
  2. Looks good. Strange question but wheres the roof vent?
  3. Chris do not encourage me!
  4. sssssshhhhhh possibly
  5. Alyth 500 emmmmmmmm NO! I will be using subframes etc from the RB5 also sold the interior and door cards. May stick it away in a shed and return it to it's former glory or maybe not Yes mine did the same get it fixed ASAP as it will only get worse and make sure it is done correct first time As for Typer500 that could be a goer. Best make it Typer600 though as thats more the plan now
  6. Not from me anyways. Somebody can have the shell and whats left after im finished if they wish. Now what to call the project now any idea folks??
  7. Andy F told me not to! It will only take 5 minutes to fit once your there. You could even mount the 3 port in position and not connected and have the 2 port still plumbed in but not mounted on the bracket
  8. Well it won't be now. Went to see the 3dr shell and agreed to buy it. Will be going gunmetal grey though. My mate a panel beater looked at the RB5 shell and agrees it's hardly worth fixing. Ashame but not realy much choice
  9. Well I have been offered a mint 2dr shell no rust no damage what do i do? It would be going the RB5 colour and have bits of RB5 322 fitted?
  10. It may have been a jack sized hole originally but it has obviously got worse and grown. To be honest it's not a big deal to sort just more hassle than I can be bothered with as I have enough to do as it is Wheels will be going Dark bronze colour
  11. Not much happened of late as I have been away on holiday and have been offshore more than usual Had to buy new wheels that fitted over my new brakes, here they are what do people think? Will most likely keep the shell and learn how to weld. A fist sized hole in the sill at all four jacking point
  12. You should have bought an STI in the first place rather than adding STI bits to a WRX!!! Looks good mate I miss mine
  13. Ah wonder where he got that Sard dump valve from Im selling an ECU (with ECUTEK licence) VF23 and 3" from the turbo back exhaust. Also have the 17" P1 wheels from my car for sale not that you would be intrested in any of it
  14. Looking good mate. Hopefully get a good look at it soon. Has it not got a dump valve fitted? Good luck for Sunday
  15. To much power is easily sorted it's called multiple maps
  16. Nice. I was looking at ordering the one which is slightly narrower as my car will still be road legal and don't want the spoiler wiping out padestrians as i drive past
  17. Your best bet is to probably just go on the track as is. You will soon realise what you need Best place to start is probably to make the car as light as possible removing spare wheel and door cards, stereos, speakers and so on. Im building my car with the logic that double the standard power with all the best of suspension and brakes is the way forward. Also fitting a cage incase it all goes wrong which is hopefully won't
  18. That knackered mate You should be able to get a decent condition second hand one for reasonable money though Did the battery charge and the car go OK?
  19. My dog *****s her ears up and runs to the door when one goes past as she thinks it me. It is quite good as it gives me plenty warning to do ^^^^
  20. certainly no shortage of golf courses over there. Played Kings barnes last year awesome should be for £75 got 1 shot for every £ so not so bad
  21. Stunning mate. Could I justify a P1 as a runabout???
  22. Back offshore now my mate is coming to have a look at the rust on the shell to see what he thinks. Can get a pretty mint Type-r shell for 2kish now a days so may be an option would sort of ruin the project name though Possability of maybe buying a new house in the very near future which would infact speed up the project believe it or not If the shell is deemed repairable then it will be going for the cage in about 2 months. Next job when i get home is tidy up the bloody garage as iv been removing bits and just throwing the bits i don't need on the floor so it's officially a total mess as the pic's show hey ho
  23. Still on the diesel power for now mate. The white beast should be MOT'd and painted for my return onshore on the 22nd. Can't wait, the diesel has 45bhp so the rallye should be a bit more fun if i can master changing into 4th instead of 6th
  24. mmmmmmmmm no not quite but just wait till it is finished that will wipe the smirk from your face!!! Probably but when it is finished it will be finished. Remember Rich actually only did the cage and we all know his car ain't finished yet! The white thing went to the garage today for a few bits before the MOT and then it's at the bodyshop next week for a few touch up's
  25. I realy depends on what it is. When i uprated the anti-roll bars i binned the standard ones as they had no paint and were old and rusty. Removed my PPP ECU and stuck it on ebay and got over £400. Also my Alcon 4 pots will be going on ebay once they are removed. Most bits are worthless to most people but feel free to post them on ebay you never know what people may need
