  2. Andy F kicked my @ss @ TOTB Respect Jac and why not keep throwing fuel on the fire it's fun
  3. lol well that certainly ended the bitching
  4. Well got some new wheels to fit over the new brakes apart from that i have officially done nothing. Not able to pick up my 2 door shell for another 10 days or so. Will be fitting subframes and suspension etc so i have a rolling shell so it can be pushed onto the trailer to go for the cage fitting. Only thing i have bought recently They look superbly made and pretty cheap pity about the duty charge coming into the country Purchased a twin axel braked trailer for much cheapness and put it in the barn last night and as i shut the roller door it fell 5ft on it's own. So todays job fix the flippin door
  5. Oiled filter with a MAF is a no no. Try taking the car for a little run and stopping letting the car idle and dissconnect the MAF if the car idles as normal with is disconnected it is a MAF problem if it cuts out the MAF is OK. If it's not this get the fault codes checked I would reccomend getting a dry filter element as the oil can cause premature failure of MAF's
  6. Was working spot on when the car was on the road no damage to anything and no play in bearings. It will fit straight onto a 98 uk no probs. By the sounds of it you could just fit a turbo and fuel pump and get the mapped tweeked for 330bhp
  7. I made 330/320 on a VF23 and 440cc injectors walbro, FMIC and full de-cat I actually still have the turbo if your intrested?
  8. From what i can remember 350 is about the reccomended limit on the rods. I have however read an article where a uk turbo was running 430ish with standard internals
  9. Best I have had about 330 worst 68 from full to petrol light although that involved a track day
  10. Yip Still have to go and view my possible new runabout when i get home Have a guess? £1200 and you can have the rallye back

  15. Craig the bits below the back lights are easily replaced. Think both mine from my old car are mint £10 and you can have both and you will just have to get them colour coded
  16. One of my mates is a panel beater/ paint sprayer. He can do it for a reasonable cost il get a price from him when i get home if your intrested?
  17. Well done to everybody. Ashame about all the breakages and problems. I will be coming to watch next year if it kills me
  18. Yes I recon a lightweight 2 door with 500bhp and the correct suspension would be pretty hard to beat. Im in 2 minds what to do would realy like an external wastegate childish I know West of the Shetlands nice im east of Aberdeen about 135 miles till the 19th
  19. Glad to hear you got it back running again Hope this engines lasts a bit longer. Now get yourself a rotated setup and test that new engine out Makes me miss mine It will be finished by mid 2011 hopefully. Not looking for any Instrument techs on Sakhalin are they?
  20. Ahem Mr AA I seem to have a flat tyre or chap on a socket on the buggers. I am never ever ever having a set of locking wheel nuts on a car again thge buggers can nick the bloody wheels if they are brave enough. Looking good G how did your tradesman get on with the interior? How long till it's finished?? Mine is growing arms and legs
