Possibly clutch bearings? Doubt you'll be able to see anything under there, if it was drive shaft you'd hear it all the time. Can you get it to a local garage to get in up on the ramps anyway?

That’s good news guys. The major 60k service set me back loads so I had to leave the discs standard. Very happy with DS2500’s, they give good feedback and allow you to feel your braking. I’ll be giving the Mrs some tuition on track so I’m hoping she runs out of bravery before the brakes get over worked

Guys, Would my car last on a track day? Does anyone have experience running close to standard brakes on track? I’ve got a 03 WRX PPP with standard disks and DS2500 pads on front, (soon to be the same on the rear too) with 5.1 fluid. I have racing experience and feel I could limit any excessive breaking, but don’t want to pay out for a day and waste my time and money. Thanks for any advice.
