Congratulations on your new car
The only experiences I have had similar to that are typically related to the Mass Air Flow sensors. They get blocked or whatever and send intermittent signals back to the ECU resulting in the behaviour you describe. If you can find a garage or someone to swap one with to test, that would be the best option in the first instance to test it
All the best with it
No way.... Not Iain!!!!
Really sorry to hear that mate - I have seen the effort and work you put into making things happen both in Bucks and in general.
Thanks for all your time and self sacrifice - it has been appreciated (even by someone who hasn't managed to take much advantage of it!!!!)
Cheers,
Graeme
Grats on the new Scoob dlatch - I am sure the 'dog' will love it
wtf you doing Zippylane?? The missus has the Scoob and you have an S-Max!?? Methinks you have this the wrong way round
OMG - I must have been out with the fairies... I never even saw this! Or the first post about money being in by end November. Sorry about that!!
I will definitely still be interested, but understand the lack of money thing - seems to be an epidemic at the moment
Yeah totally Iain - scumbags indeed.
The copper looked at me a bit funny after he asked "would you be happy to appear in court to prosecute?" and I replied "I would be happy to take them out back and beat them senseless with a rubber hose"
Thanks guys for the support - it's all a little draining tbh, and encouraging to see your replies
I reported this under the 'Stolen' section already - Link to it here
Just wanted to mention it in case anyone sees it lurking around - there aren't that many around - 101 if Budgie is to be believed
Just needing to calm down as I am deeply aggravated right now - want to find the filthy slime and beat them senseless!!
What the hell are they doing to you insurance wise!!?? It can't be good!
Mind you - I remember a few years back when I tried to insure my Accord Type R.... First quote I got from Norwich Union was £8000!! wtf! Eventually it settled down to £1200. Depressingly a Porsche cost less to insure than the Scoob
Don't think I mentioned this before.....
Think I hate you - lol!
My insurance is roughly the same this year - expecting next to be the same - there is something wrong with the road tax plan though.... £210 for your beast and £415 for my little pathetic 257 horse powers.... All is not right with the world....
Wait! I have the solution!!! I will just have to make the equivalent amount more horse power!! That's around 800bhp then - lol!
Sorry to hear that Rich - I do understand though. Between the insurance and road tax, I am in for over £1100 soon, and no money to fund it =/
All the best finding a replacement
Cheers,
Graeme
