Hes usually spot on when it comes to problem finding Other option, I'll run my classic up to yours and we can mess around with various parts until we find the problem! Andy

  6. Spotted yet again, today around lunch time in Chambers st, turning into South Bridge. Good to see yir car back on the road, still soundin sweet I was removing a parking ticket from my van the time!!!!!
  7. Same coolant pipe burst on my classic about 2 weeks ago. Started the car from cold and was looking for the source of a tiny oil leak the car currently has, when suddenly all this coolant came rushing down the block. On closer inspection, it was the exact same pipe you have pictured above, however the hole in my pipe was smaller and definately from the previous owner using a crappy jubilee clip which had cut into the pipe and rusted which eventually caused this 1inch hole. Have you priced a new pipe yet? I paid £30 including vat for mine from Subaru in Penicuik!

  9. Sounds good to me! I drive all day at my work and travelling to a meet thats an hours drive away is not that apealing, so Lanark meet could be good, depending on the response 1/ badbaz 2/ TPS - SCOOB
  10. Seem to have developed a slight water leak! Appears to be coming from around the crank - oil filter area. Anybody know whats likely to be the cause in this area...............before I start stripping things down? Only seems to be a constant drip on start up, until heated / thermostat opening then "almost" stops. Any advice / help appreciated Almost forgot.......98 wrx Cheers Andy

  14. I drive an 08 WRX in red mate. Your more likely to see me on that stretch, as well as all over Edinburgh in a black TPS astra van..............when its not trying to swim across the river Clyde
  15. Probably the same guy, just changing his cars frequently! Wasnt there something else there before the BMW that was impressive? Cant remember exactly what tho The paintwork on that BMW is cracking..........makes the car look alive.
  16. Pass it most days on way into Edinburgh. Sits on A70, Lanark rd, opposite Kingsknowe golf course Fully blown wide arches etc...............Looks sweet Anybody?
  17. With the way the traffic has been in Lanark of late, it was likely sitting in a traffic jam!!! especially on Hyndford road. Took me an hour and a half to get through the place on Friday evening Plus side....I was in my 08 Red WRX Down side...I was also doing 1mph!!!!
