  1. Brilliant weekend with a brilliant bunch of people as per usual. Never took any pix and almost forgot the video camera was there so only a few small clips, nothing special though
  2. Blobs rule Glyn, did you not know that? We will just have to prove the point this weekend.............AGAIN
  3. almost there now! so who's meeting me on friday at stirling services for the 'royal' leg of the fling? add your names please and theres a choice, meet at 11 for 11.30 departure or at 11.30 for 12 departure. lunch will be about an hour and a half after leaving 1. scooby222 2. TPS -SCOOB - earlier we depart, quicker we get to eat
  4. Seeing as the hatches will OBVIOUSLY be at the back of the pack thats when she will funnily enough run out of fuel batteries
  5. Hope Cathy doesnt hear you talking about wagons like that!
  6. Never got pulled Joe, noise was just way too loud after fitting the MD321 so a resonated centre section "should" have been the answer. Many thanks to Barry once again for his patience and skills with a big hammer, some sticky tape (pink variety of course) and some gun gum System now has a Hayward & Scott resonated centre section fitted, not that its made too much difference but should be enough to be able to "creep" past the old bill if required without attracting too much attention! Roll on Fridays remap
  7. All I can say is what a total Fcuking mess RMS made of fitting a resonator box! Thanx guys!!!! Catching on Prop and Carrier Catching on Diff Carrier Due to the balls up of the above, they felt the need to weld a bracket on and wedge the back box into position! After cutting and welding the hangers for no aparent reason! This was a £600 Hayward & Scott system they butchered! All I wanted was a silencer box in the mid section to prevent me getting an ASBO. NOT HAPPY
  8. Thanks for the replies folks...........should really have asked before I was "stuck" with using them. Will post pix later in week when I take the "modified" exhaust off before flinging it in the skip! Yes, it is that bad!
  9. Yeah, totally know where your coming from Paul. Why only recently did I spot this car in a car park Now, I am a big fan of rally replica cars, just look at badbaz's car..........looks amazing! Alistairs America replica also looks the part, when he takes it out the balloon Then you get half hearted attempts like the picture above! I knew posting my recent pix up would show some mixed feelings. I recon for some people its also a lot to do with keeping the car as pure a Subaru as possible! That in mind, Ive went down the Fast and Furious route lol. The good point is that the mods that lay beneath the bonnet are as agressive as it looks............well thats once Bob Rawle gets his hands on it next week
  10. Didnt know you missed me Gaz Knew there would be a mixed response and at the end of the day, if I get bored with them then they are after all only vinyl strips and can be easily removed to make way for some lovely pink stuff Dave
  11. Definately a personal opinion and took massive balls to get it done. Not for everyone, but I love it
  12. RMS Exhausts at Prestwick. Anyone used them? If so what did you make of them, quality good or bad? Andy
  13. Oh yeah! Id guess around 250mm each Childs play Paul, poor Graeme and myself are adding at least 300 miles onto that trip..............all for a good cause tho
  14. AHA...........my old classic! Hope you treat her well and do enjoy
  15. Where you gone Neil? Here? My link Lots of Cummins and goings on that forum but maybe they are good at Perkins people up after a bad day! or perhaps a Pinta Stella would be more in keeping
  16. Begs the question, what exactly are you looking for from a club for £20 Neil? What you have listed above (among various other incentives you have selected not to failed to mention) in my eyes are good incentives for anyone to join. Perhaps your expectations from a club exceed what can reasonably be delivered!?!? Hats off to the new committee members, they have their work cut out and I for one am right behind them all the way. I think £20 is nothing for what you receive in return. Forget the fundamental items you get like True Grip, Forum usage, Window stickers etc etc to me the club means so much more and I'll tell you exactly why. Ive been into my Scoobies for maybes 3 years which is quite a short time as far as Scooby ownership goes. In that time Ive had 3 Scoobies and enjoyed every one of them. Ive supported Santa Cruise by attending, donating personally and also through my own business. Attend as many shows etc as I possibly can to show support for SIDC etc etc the list goes on. However, more important than any of that is the amazing people I have met throughout this period, none of which would have been possible without this forum. I have met some really interesting people (and some tossers!!!). At any of the meets, whether it be Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Central, there is always a great sense of COMMUNITY SPIRIT! I have also made a LOT of friends along the way, some of them I regard as person friends and several I hold a lot of respect for. This is mainly the reason I find the pittance of £20 membership fee all worth the while. Yes the cold winter nights see most of us having some banter on the forum but this is where I know my money goes...........helping the running of the forum which would not even be here without paid up members. I seriously doubt this a place you want to be Neil! Perhaps if SIDC cant deliver what you expect, then maybes a diesel generator club might be more your thing
  17. Ye of little faith Dave! I have no doubt the spec c will be sporting a new, larger sucky/blowy thingy very soon
  18. Im voting for 3 groups this year: 1) Progressive group 2) Less Progressive group 3) Hatch group Leaving in that order so the majority of us dont have to look at those Prius lookalikes all day, except in the rear view mirror! where they belong!
