  1. Anyone checked the "Honda" forum to see if any yellow NSX's will be in the area
  2. Same here Phil, booked the Holiday Inn seeing as there was only family rooms available at Travel Lodge AND the fact the beds were Cr@p at travel lodge last year! Looking forward to the stone chipped bumpers and bonnets lol
  3. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Defo you Brian
  4. He sure did rip it to pieces lol As Dave says, the MD321 turbo sure helps with performance If Im right in saying, the jammy buggers car is now lighter than my spec c, by about 30kg, which is some achievement, then again I still have the luxury of a radio, door cards, rear seat, headliner etc etc............ATM! No doubt Barry will be along to tell us how hes gonna get the retaining nuts out of the pillars lol Andy
  5. Just for laughs, bring a Honda NSX there would be a convoy of hatches behind thats for sure
  6. Not me, but did clock your car in multi story, blue car park of OT while I was carrying out a survey! Andy
  7. Excellent day for it! Well done Robert for arranging and thanks to Graeme for the stickers (even if they were squint lol) Yorkhill staff appeared to be well chuffed with the donations you just know the kidz will appreciate it sooooooo much :waving-santa: Some George Square video footage currently being edited
  8. Nice 1 Chris! Car sounding very sweet and you seemed to be pressing on a little lol Can I ask what the script was with exhaust noise? Do they check / test your car on a db meter or something? Cheers Andy
  9. A few tasteful mods, a bit of cash and a sweet remap..............result!
  10. Lecky meters.......is that what the big dial is on the dashboard of a hatch?!
  11. As Chris says, start with the brakes! I had an 08 hatch wrx back in 2008 (funnily enough) and the main issue I had was with the terrible standard brakes on the car. IMO not much point in upping the power of that particular car yet, without it being able to stop! Andy
  12. I also saw this last week in Edinburgh, think it was fountainbridge area and sure it was a hawkeye. It was the red flaps that stuck out!!!
  13. So as several people know, I have recently purchased JoeG's old spec c. Lovely car but comes with problems / issues, mainly being "light weight"! Car lacks a passenger sun visor all for the weight saving issue, so this seems a perfect time to fit a sunstrip. Question is (apart from which colour to get) if its fitted to the outside of the windscreen, will the wipers foul on it and eventually rip some of it off? Or do I go down the route of having it fitted inside the windscreen? decisions decisions Andy
  14. Looks very nice! Bet you cant wait to have a blast in it
  15. Many thanks John Got someone working on it as we speak, any probs I now know where to ask Andy
  16. Hi John Current code on my car is: UK/Europe Impreza Turbo 2000 / GT MY98 TY752VN6AA Replacement Gearbox AND Diff is: JDM Impreza WRX & WRX STi MY95 TY752VB3FA 3.454 2.062 1.448 1.088 0.825 3.416 1.000 4.111 Viscous (4kgf) Open All going well, should be fitted by the end of the week.............however I do believe there may be rear driveshaft issues (maybe) Cheers Andy
  17. After a few crunching and grinding noises towards the end of our session at Kames on Saturday, it would appear that Ive destroyed the release bearing and 2nd gear. Car in question is a '98' UK 2000 turbo. Got hold of an sti gearbox, it will be a straight swap apparently. Question is...........will I need to change the rear diff also? Dont know much about these things but dont want to fit the gearbox then blow the diff soon after! Thanks in advance Andy
  18. Have to agree with Barry on this one. The guy on the Forth road provides a pretty good service and only took a couple of days to sort mine out. Id give him 95% also. Not so much with the powder coating, more with the prep side of things. Mind you, my alloys were in some state beforehand! Andy
  19. Nice one Phil Glad it all went well for you 3rd time round! Cya 2moro night
  20. Great day out, cracking weather (unusually for Knockhill) Well done to Tam and also standard and presence of SIDC stand
  21. Was a cracking weekend, even with clutch problems. Good to meet up with a few familiar faces and making a few new friends. Some video footage below, see if you can spot yourself!............not the best quality but scenery was stunning! Roll on next year............................ Check out the old dear infront of the church at the end of this clip, waving to all the Scoobies......lol Andy
