  1. Great stuff - I felt dirty at first, but came away totally satisfied!
  2. Welcome!
  3. P.S. Welcome to the forum!
  4. A Hawkeye WRX will run on reg 95 RON as per the manual - did so with mine for a while before switching to V-Power, which I stuck with because of the noticeable improvement in performance/smoothness.
  5. Looking good The missus' folded arms suggest that perhaps she isn't quite as enamoured of the new dials as you are?
  6. Could also be the infamous 'knocking newage shock' syndrome... usually confirmed by checking for sideways play in the shock. Many miles have your rear shocks done?
  7. Well, if you put it that way, then my vote goes to Ben Kingsley
  8. Thanks Tom! Forgot to ask, who makes the splitter and roughly how much does it weigh? Thanks again, and looking forward to seeing the pics once the lower grille's on
  9. It was actually the fitting of the splitter I was most interested in - did you have to drill or make any other permanent mods to the bumper to secure it? Cheers.
  10. Your splitter looks great and the grilles are a subtle but tasteful mod Did you have to drill or cut at all to fit the former?
  11. "We have not been able to get out of our house. The road's been closed - I had to walk the kids to school." That really puts into perspective the gravity of this tragedy.
  12. Do you mean 'fine' as in 'the same or more tread at the back than the front'? Squint wheel might not help either, I suppose
  13. All the berry vest to you both!
  14. And you don't have an especially thick ARB on the back or owt like that?
  15. The top part (B7007) isn't single track, but if you're going to head all the way to Innerleithen, or head back across to the A7, you have to take the B709, which looks to be single track for all its length... Were you suggesting a different route to the above?
  16. Maybe stating the obvious, but how's the tread on your rear tyres vs. the front?
  17. Are you sure? What if I threw in the M876 spur as well? Looks like a picturesque route, Cathy! Single track though.. I'll maybe take the wee car down some time
  18. Cheers John! What are you doing for kicks these days then? (if you don't mind us asking).
  19. Thanks Colin! Aye, the photaes are so similar I was feart I might be accused of 'suspension by photoshop'!
  20. Cheers Cathy! Aye, you Lothian & Borders folks certainly have more than your fair share of good roads! How about a swap... your A7 for our M9?
  21. Interesting that you're considering the Clubsport. Are you concerned that the V3s might be a bit soft for the track, Del?
  22. It's much flatter than before Derek. You particularly notice it when exiting bends - previously the car would become a bit uncomposed as the weight shifted back to centre, now it's much more together and you can get onto the throttle earlier. You can be more aggressive with the steering inputs too, with less fear of it all turning to blancmange! You still looking at treating the hatch to a set?
  23. Performed beautifully during a run down the Borders at the weekend Passed the speed bump test too!
