  1. Hi guys, Don't think I'm going to take this one after all... Crimbo has come early so I've got some goodies to collect from Wolverhampton now and they'll be getting fitted... you should hear when I'm finished though! Pap pap! Have a good one!
  2. The sales section of www.imprezasport.net should have a few prices you could compare yours to... Have you tried the parkers website? Good luck with the sale mate!
  3. Yours is a sport is it not? You'll have trouble fitting much from a turbo scooby other than a backbox (even that'll need a dremmel taking to it) unless you're any good at welding in which case your best bet would be to get a good decat centre pipe and backbox for a turbo scoob and weld a bigger flange to a Borla manifold... that'll give you the closest thing to the true turbo burble. If it's just a backbox, the they can be made to fit. There's a good write up here! that should see you right. My GX has a 2.5" pipe with a bigger flange to the centre pipe and 3" pipe up to the backbox and to be honest, I've always been after more noise... everyone I've spoken to says a Borla manifold (even a if it's just a rep) really makes such a difference! Cheers, Stu Oh, and these should give you a bit of extra reading should you need it... 4. I cant believe im reading this! I grew up down the road from smetharpe, even learned to drive on the strip. As long as i can remember theres been motorsport down there and the locals have always been so supportive of it. Londoners moving down and cocking it all up for the locals seems to be a running trend, especially in the small villages around there. Ive been away too long methinks!
  5. Someone read that post well eh Matty! Thurs to Friday... As Matty said though, Oxford (Oxon) is VERY close to Silverstone so I'm sure a few of us locals could arrange something... are you at Silverstone both days? Cheers, Stu
  6. Looks like a fag burn to me! It's actually an exposed dust disk – a protostar with all it's gas 'blown' out. Apparently the black marks are cause by gas pillars (big plumes of gas rising up from what would've been a star if it had formed)... They're billions of times bigger than our entire solar system!!!! I think that's right anyway.
  7. I've a new pack of wetwipes at the ready... what time are you looking at Sunday mate?
  8. We're in! 01. Big 'D' 02. scoobyboo and winnie 03. scoobywag and family 04. Whisper and Bird 05. Michael_Jenkins 06.MattyWRX and Mrs MattyWRX 07. Stum450n et al 08. 09. 10.
  9. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... Very nice mate, you'll have to give me a demo when you get chance! Stu
  10. On the clock front, could you get a 52 or 60mm clock dial that matches your dials and put it in a pillar pod?
  11. From what i understand, the bulbs are white and the dash colour comes from a coloured plate that holds the dials... This needs sanding down to remove the colour and coloured bulbs adding in place of the white. Dont take that as gospel though but im pretty sure thats the case... Someone will be along to correct me if im wrong!
  12. baby blue looks fooking awesome if youre after something a little different! Otherwise, grey imho.
  13. I'm planning to... Will know for sure in a day or two.
  14. my phones only letting me view the first pic but im guessing the fillers been primed and painted now then? I guess ill be waiting til the next meet to see it then?
  15. It seems just the one is enough... Parked down by the library yesterday for a kids party and came back to find a squad car checking mine over! A charity cruise is a good idea though! Im up for it.
  16. At the harvester? Bloody lovely mate! I was REALLY surprised to be honest, had worse in michelin starred restaurants before now... No joke! It was lovely!
  17. Yeah, i'll be there mate. Fancy a mini convoy up if you're going?
  18. He he, was thinking the same myself!
  19. Youve got him well trained then, spot on! Youll have to get him along to the meet too. Iain will get the details up soon enough but its normally from 11.30.
  20. Good call. Wanting one myself... One day, it'll probably end up being days before petrol gets banned or something stupid like that knowing my luck though! Good luck with the sale dude!
  21. Easiest way would be to host them free somewhere like photobucket.com, copy the link to it, click the photo icon above the box on here when youre writing a message and paste the link when prompted... Even that makes it sound trickier than it is! Send me a pm if you get stuck.
  22. A man in a field with a sythe, dungarees, a big straw hat and not much between the ears... ...that or its a pub chain with surprisingly brilliant food (and space for more than three!)
  23. Meant that until now i didnt know of another sidc oxon/osc member with a sport... Now it appears some didnt notice i had one either! Welcome aboard!
  24. Ha ha, yeah ive a sport matey, 275 a yr, 26 and no points... That i know of (dont ask!). Mpg average is between 35 and 40 but a lot less if i boot it! Not making excuses but back from the gathering i had no idea where we where and it was soaking... Live to fight another day n all that jazz
  25. Woohoo! Another sport in the fold! Your best bet is ebay or a breakers but theres not many about these days (breakers that is). When i was looking there where loads, very few for newage models but loads for classics... Under £100 in most cases. Hope that helps a bit, you've probably been dnwn that route already mind. Cheers Stu
