  1. Alright Ben mate, you making any progress? If you need anything else, you know where I am. Stu
  2. Was on the warm side wasn't it! My little girl had another 'surprise appearance' on the way home so I spent the afternoon cleaning the back seats out but next time I'll make sure she's not full of ice cream so we can hang about a bit longer! Liking the photos by the way! Stu
  3. ill be going along and meeting up with a few from imprezasport.net at peartree so we could end up with quite a convoy up to banbury! Im supposed to be marshalling so i guess ill be up there earlier but if not ill be part of the main run up there with you all. Stu
  4. lovely looking motor matey, nice and tidy. I know the feeling about the lack of fuel, ran out myself after 10mins after buying mine... Nightmare for you having that filter thingy go too though! Youll have to get her along to a meet and show her off a little!
  5. Should be a good one for you matey, was fantastic up there today! Even got some back stage action... got to hang a timing card out over the track when the old F1 cars where out, had a pint with Murray Walker (who was drinking water btw) and even managed to get myself into the race control building!!!! (Got asked to leave that one though! ) Enjoy yourself matey!
  6. Me too, been up at Silverstone today and I'm a bit red now but loving the sun!
  7. Cracking pics matey! I'm well jealous!
  8. He's a proper little cutie mate! Can see why you would wan to spend more time with him. I was the same a few years back wih my two (the oldest is only 4 now mind), it definately makes you take stock and reassess things imho. Good luck mate!
  9. P M _ S E N T... sorry! [Grrrrr, not a fan of goats!)
  10. Just got back from work so I need to eat but I'll be able to help you out in half hour or so.
  11. I popped in the fleece on thurs matey, half expected a sea of blue and yellow fleeces but no luck, youll have to wear a red rose in your hair or something next time! Stu
  12. Craigy, we've not met but I know from experience how tricky it is balancing time with t'family... always time well spent though imho! I know I've not been down this way too long but I'm more than happy to help out where I can. I've plenty free time since moving down from the midlands (where I helped out with midland-scoobies and at Curborough Sprint Track. I also ran a cubs group and believe me, they take some organising! ) so whether it comes my way or to someone else who's been in the area longer, I'll be more than glad to help! Cheers, Stu
  13. It's good to hear Andy's settling in, if was closer i would pay a visit. The guy's a legend in them parts!
  14. Thank you. I am freelance and in the same breath I'm not... it's a tax thing as I'm sure you'll soon learn! 'vetica neue /-50 is a good basis for a style but it's been done a lot over the last 20 yrs and now DIN (German road sign 'face) is taking it's place so I can see 'vetica making a resurgence if everyone still insists on ignoring the far more flexible serifs! I don't know how long you've been in the industry so don't take this the wrong way but if you need anything matey, just let me know!
  15. ...and you're all doing a sterling job and it's very much appreciated! I've put my name down to help in any way that I can over the w/e but in the mean time, if there's anything I can do to help, just let me know!
  16. Looks good matey, I'm a designer myself so I'll be keen to see how the site turns out when it's finished (www.stumason.com is mine...) If you're advertising yourself as a designer though, I would be tempted to add slightly more kerning between each of the letters to aid legibility at speed but yeah, really looks good with the colour combination!
  17. Sorry guys, can't make it I'm afraid. The car's down that direction but she's having some new bits fitted. Have fun though! Would've been brilliant to see the place again!
  18. I guess that's what comes of being 20withascooby though. I guess you saw that one coming (the cost of insurance not being unemployed) whereas 99% of drivers that this will effect had no idea when they bought their cars... had I known I would've put the extra towards insurance and got a classic rather than in that fat w**ker's pocket!
  19. Is that the one down by the post office?
  20. Here's mine, not 18's and factory fitted (now black though) but it gives you a rough idea I guess!
  21. Could always try a Witney mini meet out for size?
  22. Cheers guys, massive help! Anyone know why Cotswold's are in the middle of nowhere or am I looking at the wrong part of the map? Bit like the clinic I'm guessing?
  23. There's an astro pitch there? I thought it was all wasteland behind there... I've really gotta get myself out exploring!
