  1. would it be a better idea to move this to the main page or leave it here. They're some prizes for leagues with more than 8 players. steve

  3. Get the alloy ones mate. Best phoning scooby parts i've just got £50 discount on the order i'm about to place and free delivery. steve
  4. I know with the blobeye shock's you could strip them down remove the grease and put new grease In them. This would save you buying new shock's. My mate did this on his blobeye and it worked the shock's were like new after it. Not sure if you can do it with the hawkeye though. Steve
  5. Thanks for the comments. I'd say there doesn't feel much difference between this and my ra the p1 feels quicker although i think it's running a little more power than the ra. steve
  6. Hi After recently selling my audi a3 i've bought my 1st p1 No 247. This is my 3rd impreza after MY02 WRX and MR95 STI type ra. I sold my ra for a family car in july as my baby girl was born so i bought an audi a3 5 door. This lasted till now as i really missed having the impreza and after talking the wife round i decided to look for a new impreza although she wasn't to chuffed but needs must, although i've been warned that i've to keep this one for a while I bought it from a dealer in High Wycombe last friday so it was a long day heading down from airdrie to get it. Spec Fully rebuilt forged engine with uprated pumps FMIC New VF28 turbo Uprated plugs and leads Decat Exedy Clutch Induction kit Prodrive Calipers and discs Uprated radiator Samco Hose Kit Probably missed some out. I emailled and andy f on the monday morning and with a bit of luck andy had a cancellation on thursday morning so i headed down to port seton after my night shift. The car had a dastek chip in it but there was det at high boost so i visited hypertech on wednesday for duncan to give it the once over, he removed the chip and gave the car a quick going over and a road test. The results of the andy f remap were 335Bhp 325lbft ( i was looking for about the 310 mark so i left port seton a very happy customer)
  7. Hi Thinking of buying another impreza and the garage selling it has told me that the engine rebuild and the other mod's were carried out by shannon motorsport in glasgow. Anyone heard of them or got any info on them. Would like to hear about them before i make a decision on the car. Cheers Stevie
  8. cheers for that mate i'll head out there if i can't get anywhere closer
  9. hi Just fitted a front mount to my classic and i'm looking for either someone who supplies the sticker number plate for the bonnet or someone that can supply the bracket that sits next to the fog light Cheers steve
  10. hi Finally got my apexi commander and controller. Front mount. Dump valve and 550 injectors for my 95 sti ra. I.ve got it booked in for andy f to map next tuesday and was wondering what cold air intake would be best. I like the look of the small carbon fibre induction vent or i could run a cold air pipe from my fog lamp cover. Will there be room behind my fog lamp cover once my front mount is fitted or will the pipework for the front mount be in the way. Anyone got any ideas on what would be best. Cheers steve
  11. they have got a new car out which is styled on the evo but it's a smaller car than the lancer. Although from the front it looks exactly like the evo as it's been designed by rallyart. I looked at it in the garage but can't remember the name of it Steve
  12. just a mention that there's an andy forrest td04 hybird for sale on scoobynet for 280
  13. fitted whiteline drop links to my ra at the weekend and couldn't believe the difference they made. Going to get the front done next month.
  14. hi big D My ra has a K & N induction kit which was fitted by the previous owner. Cheers steve
  15. hi Recently bought a cold air intake pipe for my ra but i noticed last sunday at the falkirk wheel that a couple of cars had the bonnet air intake scoop. Which would be best the pipe or a scoop as i see davie at dr motorsport sells them so might buy one instead of using the pipe. Is there any pro's or con's Cheers steve
  16. Thanks for that Paul still trying to find out if i'd be better going straight for the 550cc injectors or buy 440cc until i get a 20G then buy some 550cc to run with the bigger turbo cheers steve
  17. Hi Just bought an apexi ecu and commander this week for my 95 sti type ra i'm looking to get this fitted and mapped for my engine mods. These include a full decat 3", RCM Fuel pump, NGK series 8 spark plugs, K&N Induction Kit. It currently runs a polar performance chip which the previous owner fitted to it and it is probably maxing out my top mount and my standard injectors as it's kicking out around 300BHP. I'd like to know if I fitted a front mount and maxxed out my td05 would i be better buying 440cc injectors or 550cc injectors. Eventually I'm looking to run a 20G where i'd need 550cc injectors anyway. Once the 20G is fitted i'd be looking to get the gearbox strengthened as i don't think it'd handle the power. How would you go about this while keeping the ra's gear ratio's. Hope this makes sense cheers steve
  18. what about the godspeed conversion mate with the oversized pads. It works well on my car Cheers steve

  24. is there a problem with my boost then when duncan dyno'd it he never said that there was anything wrong with it although he did say that the car must be manic to drive which it is . Hopefully i'll get andy f to map it soon once i get a front mount and bigger injectors Steve
  25. hi Headed up yesterday with my nephew who enjoyed himself although it was a bit windy. One of the reason's i headed up is that i'd be interested in putting my RA on the track at the next sidc track day. My RA is track ready but looking for some info on costs as i heard some people saying that you can hire tyre's and helmets. Also i'd be looking to take my nephew on the track to and was told as long as his seat belt fits him properly then it'd be ok there is a harness on the drivers side which i could move over to the passenger side to if that would be better Any info would be appreciated Thanks steve
