  5. the kain car garage in bathgate is selling a 56 WRX in the blue for 11500 if your handy to it. It looks a cracking car seen it a few times sitting in the forecourt when i've been heading through bathgate on the bike matey. It's only been on sale for a few weeks
  6. i'm insured with CIS for 600 with an excess of only 100 for my 52 plate bugeye WRX and that was me claiming last year for 2500 when a badger ran out in front of me and done mega damage to my mondeo st.

  11. heading through to hypertech on thursday lunchtime for some fast road settings after fitting tein coilovers and new tyres what a difference in the car after having a bust shock for a while. thats the last off the mods for the now after the decat and remap the misses is having no more off it although what she doesn't know won't hurt her

  13. not to clued up on porsche's so not sure if there are any 4x4 coupe's i had an old guy overtake me the other week when i was in my truck, in his new boxster which must have been rear wheel drive and hit some standing water on the motorway he lost hit and shot across the front off me and up the banking and rolled it a few times. he walked away from it with a broken arm i couldn't believe it when i stopped. A 4 wheel drive would give you some piece of mind and some security for your misses m8 given our wonderful summer we're having
  14. yeah mate it was common sense, once i priced up 2 shocks plus the lowering springs it was cheaper for the coilovers and at least i'll not need to worry about the front shocks going to!! thought i'd put the old parts on here in case anyone needed them keeps the garage clean
  15. Just had some tein coilovers fitted since my rear shocker was burst and i was looking to lower the car to so decided to get some teins. I've Now got sitting in the garage 2 front shocks with springs plus all relevant parts for fitting which came off the car or 4 springs Can't post yet on the for sale board as i've not had enough posts if anybody is needing them, their more than welcome to them trying to keep the garage clean there off a 02 WRX bugeye
  16. i had same problem on my 02 bugeye mate and it was the rear shocks!! steve
  17. just got my reminder in for my road tax for my 52plate wrx. A years tax is 210 but i've notice that on the V11 form it says my CO2 is 242g/km. the way i see this is that the car would be in the higher tax bracket at 400. can anyone clear this up or has the DVLA made a mistake with the emissons cheers steve
  18. My neighbour is CID and told me a few months ago about this. With alarms and immobilisers nowadays nearly impossible to bypass unless they are professional crooks. Stealing the keys is alot easier and thats the way most cars are stolen now. Now i hide my keys when i'm out or in bed
  19. cheers welsho will check and see if your struts will fit mine and i'll let you know, need to get it sorted soon will phone around in the morning!!
  20. recently had my 52 plate wrx in for some mods and the garage told me that my rear shocker is goosed, only had the car since feb so not so hot when it comes to subaru's although the cars a dream to drive now. would i be best replacing the 2 rear shockers with subaru shockers or would it be worthwhile given the age of the car to go for 4 new coilovers any advice or tips would be great, not to sure what to do although i've just spent 1200 on some mods so trying not to spend to much unless it's necessary. also guys my 2 front tyres have an inch band round them on the near side which is nearing the illegal tread depth has this anything to do with the shocker being goosed!! if this makes sense? cheers steve
  21. turns out this wasn't my mate in his 270, and i thought he was the only one daft enough to do it!!
