  1. yeah mate it was common sense, once i priced up 2 shocks plus the lowering springs it was cheaper for the coilovers and at least i'll not need to worry about the front shocks going to!! thought i'd put the old parts on here in case anyone needed them keeps the garage clean
  2. Just had some tein coilovers fitted since my rear shocker was burst and i was looking to lower the car to so decided to get some teins. I've Now got sitting in the garage 2 front shocks with springs plus all relevant parts for fitting which came off the car or 4 springs Can't post yet on the for sale board as i've not had enough posts if anybody is needing them, their more than welcome to them trying to keep the garage clean there off a 02 WRX bugeye
  3. i had same problem on my 02 bugeye mate and it was the rear shocks!! steve
  4. Good man cheers steve
  5. just got my reminder in for my road tax for my 52plate wrx. A years tax is 210 but i've notice that on the V11 form it says my CO2 is 242g/km. the way i see this is that the car would be in the higher tax bracket at 400. can anyone clear this up or has the DVLA made a mistake with the emissons cheers steve
  6. My neighbour is CID and told me a few months ago about this. With alarms and immobilisers nowadays nearly impossible to bypass unless they are professional crooks. Stealing the keys is alot easier and thats the way most cars are stolen now. Now i hide my keys when i'm out or in bed
  7. cheers welsho will check and see if your struts will fit mine and i'll let you know, need to get it sorted soon will phone around in the morning!!
  8. recently had my 52 plate wrx in for some mods and the garage told me that my rear shocker is goosed, only had the car since feb so not so hot when it comes to subaru's although the cars a dream to drive now. would i be best replacing the 2 rear shockers with subaru shockers or would it be worthwhile given the age of the car to go for 4 new coilovers any advice or tips would be great, not to sure what to do although i've just spent 1200 on some mods so trying not to spend to much unless it's necessary. also guys my 2 front tyres have an inch band round them on the near side which is nearing the illegal tread depth has this anything to do with the shocker being goosed!! if this makes sense? cheers steve
  9. cheers will see about getting the weekend off work and let you's guys know will check out the website

  17. cheers guys will take it all on board was in at extreme motorsport at whitburn (this is handy for me pass it everyday) and had a chat with the guy about what to do and he was very helpful and it's working out alot cheaper than the PPP plus a bit more power
  18. cheers mate really enjoying the car just another quick question does doing a full decat bring some unwanted attention from the local bobbies due to the noise. This was the reason i was thinking of the PPP steve
  19. Hey people Recently purchased my first subaru a 52 plate bugeye WRX which i've been more than happy with. Found out about your site through a mate who said that it was the best place to be for subaru owners. Now i've had the WRX for 4 months now i'm looking to start adding horses to it. Would i be better adding the prodive pack through subaru or heading down the other route of getting one of the specialist garages to do their thing with a full decat, uprated fuel pump, panel filter, and a remap which when i priced the two the prodrive pack was £200 dearer. My car is standard the now and not looking to go daft with the power about 260 to 280 would be good all info would help. cheers steve Ps first car i've owned where other impreza owners wave my wife found this odd why people were waving at her when she used the car now she even wave's
