Popped into san speed in Bexleyheath yesterday for a gander and price check on a few goodies. They gave me a quote for some Tein super street coilovers supplied and fitted along with full geometry realignment after fitting, all for £1000 inc VAT. I thought that was a pretty good price. What do you lot think? On another note, a mate of mine who I met through another car club had his 93 impreza in there getting some work done. I haven't seen him or the car for some time, last time I saw it, it was pretty much bog standard silver with chrome rims. Now though, My god, its stunning. I can't say much more than that because I don't want to spoil the unveiling for him. He's bringing it to the Bluewater meet on the 29th. Rest assured, its up there with the best of them on this site. In fact, I'm almost positive its probably one of the most modified scoobs in the country. Intrigued?, get yourself to the bluewater meet on the 29th. His car alone will make the trip worth it.!!

£400 I'm off Thursday too, and Friday.

Yup, come with 4 good tyres. Let me know if and when you want to see them and I'll sort it.
-
Just thought I'd offer these up. Nice set of rims that I think will really suit your motor. http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=116827

The car will last, 3SGE engines are solid. When you get bored, give rogue systems a bell. They'll drop the 3sgte lump in there for a small fee which makes them fly. I had a rev 4 mr2 turbo for a while. Mad car.

Kentscoobies Meet Friday 20th June @ Nottcutts
pistonbroke2 replied to Pele's topic in South East England
Can someone help me with the actual location of this meet with a map.? -
The Bluewater meet has been set in stone, the Skyline, Supra and Pulsar clubs have been polled together and the end date is agreed as the 29th of June. The meet starts at 1200hrs, in the carpark outside House of Fraser. One of the main reasons behind agreeing this time is that people that travel further can still get home at a reasonable time. Also all the shops are open (so I can get the doughnuts in) The carpark is 99% of the time empty and the management have no problem with it, just as long as everyone behaves. Hope to see you there.

I'd have the same thoughts too, but I can't find a bug eye STI carbon bonnet anywhere -

Oh, my bad. Bummer. Autotuner it is then.

I can't see the clips as I'm at work at the moment. But this thread reminds me of a dude I met when I worked at Bristol Street Motors in Orpington. He owned a white fiesta RS turbo. To say the car was mint was an understatement. It was absolutely spotless. On one occasion, he called up for us to collect his car from home for a service, for some reason or another, he was unable to bring the car in himself. When I got to his house, he had knocked the front wall to his living room down and had a garage door put in its place. He parked and kept his car in his living room !!!, three seater sofa, TV, coffee table, and FIESTA !!, just sitting there.

So it seems there will be a bit of police presence at this meet then
-
His stereotype is more appropriate than you think, considering what I do for a living
-
Rusty Brown Ring ones.
-
To his defence, he must have viewed this post the second I pressed the submit button, for some reason the poll wasn't active until I editted it. My bad. If its any incentive for you to come along, and as a thanks for welcoming me into the club, I'll be buying the doughnuts.

Locked Out Of My Own Car In High Street !
pistonbroke2 replied to fudge's topic in South East England
I've done something similar to that. Ages ago, prior to my fascination with jap cars, I locked myself out of my Ford Probe (yes, you can stop laughing now). I was in Bromley High Street. I accidently left the keys in the ignition and as I got out, out of habit I pressed the lock door button and shut the door, as I heard the clunk I realised what I'd just done. I went to the nearest house and knocked on the door, I asked if they had a wire hanger which to my luck they gave to me. I spent 20 minutes in broad daylight in the middle of a busy high street breaking into my own car. Not one person came over and asked if it was my car which I thought was a bit of a suprise. -
After this thread http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=116478 It seems we have sufficient interest between us and a few select other clubs. Please pick your favoured date out of the above three and I'll do my best to make it happen. Cheers Dan

After my first pilot experience today at Biggin Hill, went for a quick drink in the pub just down the road from the airport, saw a nice classic silver turning around at the junction.
