  1. Nice one, I'll keep my eye out for the thread.
  2. Scooby Hoo, is this still happening?
  3. Like everyone else has said, go for the engine upgrade. Still, its quite odd that you're getting random knocking noises. I'd have to know exactly what it is before I commited to anything.
  4. Hopefully, shift permitting, I'll be there. Out of interest, will there be a dedicated SIDC club stand parking area? Good excuse to put up the club banners I saw in another post recently
  5. ooooh, I suddenly really like my front bumper and think I'll leave it as is thx for you help.
  6. When you say there's not much made for the sti bumper, you're not joking. I can't find a bean on the net!! Can anyone help me with locating a suitable front lip?
  7. It looks different to the bumper in the ebay ad. Its not actually my car, but the bumper is identical (mines much nicer)
  8. Been looking at getting a front lip spoiler for my type UK STI bugeye. Thing is, my front bumper seems to be a bit of a mystery. This is my front bumper. Will something like the following splitter fit,? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...bayphotohosting Or does anyone know of a front splitter that they know will definitely fit mine? Cheers Dan
  9. I would only get them, if I decided to get a carbon bonnet too.
  10. My to do list, 1) get them orange wing repeaters changed for crystal variants. 2) get them other orange blob things on the wings changed for something else. (I've debating whether clear reflectors or colour coded vents) 3) Morette headlamp conversion 4) front lip spoiler of some sort. On the last point, can anyone recommend a decent one ?
  11. That looks very tidy mate. Good effort. It looks very tastefully done.
  12. I believe they were like that new, or were you joking
  13. Found the camera finally so thought I'd take some pics of my pride and joy to share with the rest of you. I know the weather isn't up to much, but I have to show her off given the opportunity
  14. I've hopefully got a couple of mates tagging along too, one has a scooby, the other is in a TT supra.
  15. I may be up for this. Anyone fancy a mini convoy from sidcup/bexley area. ?
  16. Done Rusty brown ring ones ok for everyone?
  17. once we have an idea of numbers, a day will be announced.
  18. It'll more likely be early evening.
  19. An old pal of mine from the MKIVSUPRA.NET who works at Bluewater is in the process of sorting out legit japcar meets. It will be the same venue as it always has been, but it will no longer be every other Tuesday as it used to be. He is looking at sorting it for a currently unnanounced Saturday afternoon / early evening. This will hopefully prevent the problems that plagued the meet last time with the chav community who found out about it and ruined it for the rest of us. It will no longer be a regular interval meet and the dates will be posted on car forums such as this one at random intervals. This will stop the tons of mopeds turning up sounding like a thousand angry bees. He has asked me to let you lot in on it to establish numbers so the security can be made aware. For those that may not know, this is purely a static meet where you park up and mingle with other petrolheads. Burnouts, doughnuts and other forms of tom-foolery will not be tolerated. Like a previous member of the MR2oc who decided to leave the car park sideways nearly hitting a security guard quickly became named and shamed amongst his colleagues. The 300zx owner who tried his hand at drifting who collided with a lamp post, had his antics caught on camera and put up on the net for everyone to laugh at. http://media.putfile.com/300zx-crash- Just post on here if you are interested.
  20. Ooops, didn't realise how old the original post was, I thought this just happened, how stupid do I look ?
  21. Failing to exchange details is an offence in itself. Police should be sitting up and taking notice of this.
  22. I have found the form for you, If you go into any police station and ask for the RTA self reporting form (form number 207) they will have a copy for you. Failing that, I have one here with me. If you want to pick it up from me then let me know and we'll work out a time and a place to meet.
  23. Mate, sorry to hear this, get onto this lot - http://www.roadsafetyuk.co.uk/uninsured_drivers.htm The MIB are apparently very good and it costs you nothing to try. The police should have given you an accident report form that you have to fill in and give back to them. The matter then gets investgated from there.
