You should just name and shame, providing the gearbox is from them. You should let other people know, so they don't risk getting the same level of service as you have. Can't believe this is still going on? Why have you left it so long? Personally if you've tried everything you can i.e. ringing him everyday for a date to take it back etc. i'd of given the problem to someone else to sort out.

As I work a week on week off I get a whole week off, I should be painting the house at the moment, but would rather earn some extra cash as the mortgage has just gone up. Apart from the obvious i.e. renting myself out (thought i'd get that one out the way, to save you guys the hassle) i've no idea what sort of job I can do, working week on week off. Maybe somewhere where I can clock in and out and there flexible to what hours you do etc, but wouldn't know where to start to look.

People probably need to know what year there off. Mines a 98, but prob to far away from you.

Although I agree with not leaving you keys close to the letterbox for the fishing technique, I also wouldn't hide them, as I think it'd be better to let them find the keys nice and easily as opposed to coming into a room where you & your family are sleeping... Clutches can range from anything between £120 to £2000+ probably a lot more (never looked at that price range) Think a flywheel skim would be in the region of about £40-£60. Had someone fit my clutch for £120 inc. VAT To be honest though, if its not doing it in the other gears I wouldn't jump right in and get a clutch just yet, see if anyone else gives you any ideas to what it might be.
