Where To Get A Lambda Sensor From In Kent?
timmy2take replied to timmy2take's topic in South East England
thanks for that, I saw that last night and not sure its the one I want. They seem different to the ones I'm thinking needs replacing which is in the cat and kind of looks like a spark plug. Can anyone confirm what the right one is for a 97 Impreza please. I actually tried euro car parts on the off chance and they do one for £55 but it needs a little bit of work doing apparently to make it fit as I think its a universal fit so will have to ask my mechanic mate what to go for. -
I think Barretts have stopped doing Subaru parts and I can't remember the name of the place near Maidstone, or if anyone elses uses other places for bits like that? I don't think Partco etc. would do them

Having To Sell My V3 Impreza Sti, Ashford, Kent
timmy2take replied to timmy2take's topic in South East England
I fitted a SARD ECU yesterday. The car made 310BHP yesterday on the rolling road at a very very safe 1 Bar of boost and the air/fuel ratio was checked and is totally fine. It holds 1bar of boost all the way from 3700RPM all the way through the rev range. I'd just like to ad that for the buyers piece of mind, I wont use the car on the day that you come to pick it up, so that you'll be able to hear it from cold start, and that it sounds as it should and you'll see theres no smoke from the turbo either. I've also got a Head Gasket sniffer tester that I can borrow from a friend so you'll be able to see that the Head Gasket is fine as well. (This is very simple to use and will only take a few minutes) -

PRICE DROP: £3795 -
Another 1 bites the dust, the bank seems to want more off me than I can afford to pay back so its another Impreza I've had to get rid of due to money Unfortunately the above photos are taken by the works 3.2MP Vivatar ancient crap camera, and doesn't show how shiny the paint work is on the car. Unfortunately having to sell this due to personal circumstances, absolutely gutted. Everyday I seem to get a compliment from someone saying what a nice looking car it is. Even had someone say it looks like a delorean the other day, but he was about 90 and almost fell over my screwdrivers so may be a bit blind! The car has Approx 10 and a half months MOT, 6 months TAX. I would describe the car in very good condition for its age with only a few small soft dents, nothing a few £s couldn't sort out but it hasn't bothered me. It has just been serviced by myself with Silkolene Pro S Oil and Filter, Coolant & NGK PFR7B Plugs, with receipts to prove. The previous owner had the cambelt and clutch changed last year ( again with receipts to prove) + other service history. There are 2 brand new Pirellis on the back, the alloys are BBS Forged 22b Lookalikes in very good condition. Lots of life left in the brakes. The brake calipers have been painted red. The suspension on the front is quite solid (Coilovers) and could do with replacing as they are a bit harsh, I just missed out on a whole set of 97 STI suspension for £60 but am still on the lookout. HKS Exhaust Apexi Fully adjustable BOV - I don't usually like these, but have decided to stick with it as I have found a setting I like the sound of. Interior wise is very clean, unfortunately the drivers seat has a small hole in though. It has a turbo timer and a nice Alpine CD player. The car has a CAT 1 Alarm. I'm looking for £3795 The car can be viewed in Ashford, Kent or Gatwick, Surrey.

Sorry to hear that. I did think it seemed the most pikey of all the years I've been up there this year.

Thought I'd post these on here as lots of people seem to be getting ripped off through the net at the moment, so at least these can be picked up from me in Ashford. Apexi AVC-R £240 Bltiz SUS Air Filter £60 Apexi adjustable BOV £70 INC. the full fitting kit as well for a V3 so I'd imagine V4 as well. Same as this: Apexi BOV

Cheers guys, I'm working until Monday so wont be able to come out for a pint or go to the beach I quite like the Leaf Lounge, a lot better than the last place & I think its the only place in town that serves San Miguel on tap! Did I meet you both over at Chatham way one night, next to an airport? I was in the black car then. I think I followed Col up there that night, I remember all the flames he was popping out! I used to see your Impreza about all the time, what happened to it.

Heres some of my previous Imprezas among many I bought this one today, quite happy with the body work. Wouldn't take much at all to make it "mint" but for its age I'm really happy with it. Keep an eye out for me!

Thought I'd post this in here as I'm local. Possibly looking into getting back into Impreza ownership, this will have to go first though Hi, welcome to my 205 Mi16 conversion. It is in white and has a genuine 83,000 on the clock (with all old MOTs and FSH to back this up). Overall the car is in in very good condition as can be seen from the pictures. There are a few small dings and dents, but nothing to eye catching and nothing dent master wouldn't be able to sort out cheaply. The car has a 1.6 gearbox (for better acceleration) 1.9 brakes have been installed. MI16 ECU - This allows the engine to be revved higher. It has a Scorpion exhaust which sounds lovely. A K&N filter. The car also benefits from having Power Steering. It has a Pacet fan as well The cambelt was changed in November, along with the brake fluid, Oil & Filter All the tyres and brakes have good life left in them. I bought the car from a friend who had it for the last 7/8 years (paperwork to prove) and he kept it in very very good condition. There is a massive folder of receipts with the car. Sorry the pictures aren't the best of quality, they were taken with my phone camera. The car has 6 months TAX and MOT until OCT Points to note: the front bumper (the black bit) is cracked along the middle - Although I have another replacement one I have been given just need to fit it. Also the O/S indicator cover (by the headlight) has come off / been stolen (can't be more than £5 for a replacement?) The drivers seat is quite worn & the back seat has a hole up the top. Many thanks Tim

Thought i'd post it in here being a local and all. Spec. of the engine: Front Mount Intercooler 1.6 STEEL HEAD GASKET APEXI POWER FC ECU & Commander UP RATED CAMBELT APEXI INDUCTION FSE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR WALBRO 255 FUEL PUMP SARD r2d2 Dump Valve 3 Port Boost Solenoid UPRATED CAMS, NEW BLOCK, FORGED PISTONS - Although no paperwork to back these 3 parts up so I took that with a pinch of salt - Just what I was told by the last owner who owns and runs a Jap Car forum. 3" NINJA STAINLESS EXHAUST JAPSPEED DOWN PIPE CARBON STRUT BRACE EXEDY FAST ROAD CLUTCH LIGHTENED FLYWHEEL BILSTIEN COILOVERS STI 6 REAR SPOILER STI 6 BONNET SCOOP Clear front bumper indicators Clear side repeaters POWER FC HAND CONTROLLER (mapped by jolly green monster) OIL PRESSURE GAUGE - Although not currently connected BOOST GAUGE DETACHABLE STEERING WHEEL ALPINE STEREO - AFTERMARKET SPEAKERS 17" Inovite Redline Alloys with Yokohama tyres - loads of tread left on all 4 HPI clear Mot dec 09 tax may 09 CAT 1 Alarm & Immobilizer Just had Silkolene Pro S Oil Change along with, filter, coolant change and new alternator belt. Mileage shows 103k which with the clocks being changed from KM to Miles circa 80KM when it came into the country i'd work it out as being approx 70-75,000 miles. Ran a 13.1 quarter mile in the wet last month so would be in the 12s in the dry. See video: <a href=" I have the rolling road print out which was done on a Dyno Dynamics Rolling Road. The car made 322BHP with the boost tailing off at the top end, I think the new Sard BOV has solved this so may be making a bit more power, if not certainly holding it more at the top end. Just replaced the turbo this month as the other one gave up the ghost, the oil feed was checked at the time and that was flowing fine. I replaced the turbo using Genuine Subaru gaskets as well. Only selling due to going traveling. PICS: Pics aren't great quality as they were taken with a 3.2 MP camera. Car is based in either Ashford, Kent or Gatwick, Surrey.
