Ok had a look at the folder for the Type RA today and it was imported by Indy car sales in 2005 and sat in their garage on a sorn (and possibly a knackered btm end)until 2008 when they started getting it strppied down and rebuilt.I think it was then bought at the auction when Indycar sales went bust by the 2nd last owner.
Here's some info of the work done and add-ons;
New clutch
Engine Bored o/s 0.25mm
New pistons,rings
Oil pump
R/G Crank
All new bearings/seals
Cam belt changed
Engine flushed when re-built
All oils changed
And lots more bits and pieces coming to a total of £4005.00
Some of the new additions,
Kakumei stainless headers /up pipe
Zero sport ECU - harder map (boost set for 12 psi)
Innovate Lambda sensor and Bosch LSU-4.2 wideband, 5 wire oxygen sensor
Apexi Airflow converter (digital display has stopped working so is unplugged from ecu)
Cobra cat 1 Alarm/immobiliser.
Here's some pics from today after removing the wheels to check the brakes -desperately need new brakes!!!
