  1. I was told they would clear my brembo's and the guys deals with alloys everyday.It all depends on the spoke design.
  2. I'm not sure about sizes but Julian from Turriff tyres told me that 18 x 7.5 are fine on my hatch and they clear the calipers.,did ask him if i needed 18x8 and he said i didn't have too.Will be speaking to him again tomorrow.
  3. These are the ones i'm going to get;
  4. Wrxmania's pic that he's on about and the one you've posted here are from a garage about a half hour from me called Crown motors outside Banff in Scotland.I actually test drove the Grey one a few months ago and have to say it's a very nice example -the only reason i didn't buy it was the trade in price for my bugeye wasn't what i was looking for.
  5. Heres some pics of ones i like -if you can do anything with them,cheers
  6. Just got home today from offshore-internet there was really,really slow so will look for some pics tomorrow.

  8. No probs mate ,cheers.
  9. Looking at getting some new alloys soon so wondered if anyone could photoshop some Black with red lip Alloys onto a pic of my hatch to see what they look like.Was thinking about Inovit Tarmac,ST VI or torques (or anything multi spoke)Cheers. Here's the best side on pic i've got at the moment

  14. Haven't really had a right chance to take it for a good drive,got it on hogmany and went away offshore on the 4th jan plus the snow has hampered the driving a lot.Looking forward to getting home and having a good run in it.Fitted my mudflaps on the 3rd -new wheels are on hold until the weather is better ,but it's hard to resist buying things.I think i'll purchase a HT Auto's splitter when i get home (and probably a few more little bits) Are you still interested in my alloys if i decide to sell them? will probably take the tyres of them as 2 are brand new.Enjoy your new car and keep the pics coming - Comin the hatches.....
  15. Cheers Geo, mine came with Dunlops but they're 245/40/18's ,so i think i'll stick to them -now looking at alloy wheel options ,i like quite a few but want black with a red rim.
  16. Not had the car out much due to weather,drove it through to aberdeen on monday morning but the roads weren't too good.Fitted the mudflaps on sunday which are a must at this time of year. Does anyone know if you get a certificate for the tracker with the new hatches (i had one for my bugeye)I'll have to get in touch with the garage and find out.

  20. Quick question for you all- my new Hatchback has 245/40/18 tyres fitted ,but i've got 2 x brand new 225/40/18 tyres in my garage and will be changing the alloys soon - do i have to fit 245's or is it okay to use 225's ? Any help appreciated.
