  1. Cheers ,bought them from a former 22b owner who had them in his garage -never been on the roads yet -just trial fitted them then sold his car.
  2. I contacted Rota themselves and gave all the details of my car and the wheel details and they said that they fit no problem,i was a bit worried about the offset and how far they stick out also the guy told me it was 225 tyres not 235 ,so not sure if i'm keeping them yet.The guy i bought them from had a 22b and was going to put them on it - hence the offset and wide tyre to fill the arches but ended up selling the car,so the wheels/tyres haven't even been on the road yet.
  3. Offset is less 35mm i think, will this affect anything? Tyres are 235 's ,had 225 's on before.
  4. Yes they're powder-coated Dunk ,you don't get them in Gold so turrifftyres had a set of silver ones painted
  5. Picked up a new set of wheels today -Rota GTR's with Toyo R888's 235/40/18 rubber.Tried 2 of them on in my drive but i'm just not sure if they suit the car - any comments. The 235 tyres seem to stick out a fair bit - is this okay/legal?
  6. No good to me then, hav you bought them yet? haha
  7. They're 18's Rich
  8. Might get them anyway and keep them for next year.
  9. That's a pity found a second hand set -never used for a bargain price
  10. Are toyo R888's okay to use on the road in winter time or are they better for track use only -thinking of putting some on my bugeye ,any advice appreciated.
  11. Will hopefully find out if this type will fit Dunk and take it from there, cheers min.
  12. Can you stick up a couple pics of it Dunk? Cheers.
  13. Was hoping to get a V3-V4 intercooler if it's not too much modifying and change the undertray, did you sell the intercooler you had Dunk?
  14. The tmic (slanty type) on my RA has quite a few bent fins and i'm struggling to find a decent one for sale anywhere,is it possible to fit any other top-mount ,if so will it need a fair bit of modifying of pipes etc. I've never changed/swapped an intercooler before so any advice would be appreciated.Don't really want to cut my bumper to fit a fmic.
  15. Stunnig car - i would love one of these...
  16. Smiler AS, You'll be £40 a wheel to get them powdercoated from a place in Inverurie called PPS - they're seemingly very good. I've got a set of Rota GRA's in anchracite grey on my bugeye at the moment and intend swapping my front wheels to the back sometime this week - so if you want to come down and try them on your wagon give me a shout.
  17. That's one very nice looking classic you got FrankC ,Love the black wheels.
  18. Had a bit of spare time today so washed the car -any excuse to get the camera out on a sunny day.
  19. Bang goes my theory then - hope you get it fixed
  20. Not being funny but are the non-return valves fitted in the right direction- if not the water will drain out due to the nozzles being lower.
  21. Have e-mailed the guy Rich but the answer i got was 'they,re 5 /100 so should fit all classics' ... So asked him to look for the offset.I put the 16" sti alloys on yesterday and there's not a lot of clearance between the spokes and the caliper, this ones look to have less of a bend on the spokes, just wondered if anyone on here has them fitted with 4 pots.
  22. It's for my 95 type ra ,which had 2 pots but i've recently upgraded them to 4 pots
  23. Never seen that,i'll e-mail him again
  24. Does anyone know if these speedline alloys will clear my 4 pots. http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1244384.htm
