Got my V-Power card the other day in the post without doing anything (except buy ridiculous amounts of V-power). I joined up to the Shell Drivers Club in October '07 and since then I have purchased about a tank (60 litres) of V-Power per week. Thats about 900 litres to date at a cost of £963 (at £1.07 per litre). That has earned me a grand total in rewards of..........................£9.

I really need to get out into a nice scenic backdrop and get some decent photos of the car. Anyway here are some pics that i have.

Thats where I bought my driver tags and can't fault the price or service. Also bought new registration plates from the demon plates section and they are amazing. You can modify them to your own spec. A wee bit pricey but really cool. Heres a pic showing the right hand tag. Ricky is 1 off my sons.

Bonjour everybody, I ain't really French, I'm just practicing for going to France (Disneyland) later this year with the wife and kids (2 boys). Actually I'm Scottish and from Fife. Hoot's man! Just joined up to the full membership. I have been on the forums for a few months now. I am on my 1st Scoob and loving it. Will be going along to my 1st meet this week with my better half and we are looking forward to meeting fellows Scooby nutters.

Thankfully would only apply to brand new cars in the future. If this ever came to be.

Ochandlers, keep us up to speed with your final choice. I have recently purchased my first scooby, an 05 WRX and also plan to go down a similar route as yourself sometime in the future. Once i get the funds together. Did originally look at the Prodrive Performane Pack but this is about £1600 fitted and i am told by people who know better that you can get the same results (or better) with aftermarket parts at a much reduced cost. Firstly i was going to look at new 18" wheels and uprated brakes, then possibly suspension, then the power upgrades.

Started of my online gaming with Battlefield 1942. Got owned all the time. (Its always difficult starting out but soon you get the hang off it, so if at first you dont succeed........ ) There are a few hardcore gamers at my work, who got me into the battlefield gaming, one currently plays for ReasonGaming (apparently one of the top gaming clans in the UK). Only played 1942 briefly then Battlefield 2 (modern day version of 1942) came out. I moved over to BF2 and played it for years, absolutly great game, especially if you can experience playing in a proper squad. Still got BF2 but haven't played for ages, ironically stopped playing after i purchased my latest gaming rig last summer, that can easily support BF2 totally maxed out (all graphics setting on high )! Currently playing COD4 (completed single player and about to try the online bit just shortly) and have Crysis to start too (only played the demo so far). Got to say that both COD4 and Crysis are stunning games.

Some newbie questions: What are the benifits of changing the air filter from the standard fitted filter to the 'Green Cotton Filter' mentioned above? Also I take it that there are no adverse effects for simply changing to a better air filter? Reason for asking: I previously had a VW Bora V5 and decided to get a K+N Induction Kit fitted and all hell broke loose. I had nothing but trouble the whole time it was fitted to the car. Now, I know that an Induction kit and a panel air filter are not the same things. (I think ). I think in hind sight that when fitting an induction kit the car requires some kind of alterations to the ECU to allow for greater amounts of air coming in. Please correct me if i am wrong! Thing is I had the induction kit fitted by performance specialists "Falkland Performance" and they never advised any other procedures may be required after fitting the unit. It was well over a year later after spending loads of cash at VW for various faults that kept appearing. Car would just die when pulling up to stop and the like. Lambda probe replaced, air mass meter replaced among many other parts that i can't recall. I finally took the car to another garage and the mechanic there after looking at the history of faults said the problem lay with the Induction kit I had fitted. Smartly removed, original filter re-fitted, no more problems. God waffled on a bit there, anyhoo I ain't no mechanic and I would appreciate any advise kindly given, always keen to learn.

Here's my list. 1st mode of transport, the Suzuki 125RG Gamma. Crashed and written off!! Gutted, absolutly loved it too!! 1st car, the MG Metro, mine was silver, this is just an example photo. 2nd car, the Ford Orion 1.6i Ghia, mine was white and black, again this is just an example photo. Unfortunatly this was stolen and written off. 3rd car, the Pug 309GTi again this is just an example photo, loved this motor! 4th car, the Mazda MX3. The wifes car at the same time I had the Mazda. 5th car, the VW Bora V5, had to sell the Mazda and the Corsa to get this family car. And finally, the Impreza WRX, the ultimate family car.

I've not had the Scoob long but I got a service carried out at Eden Subaru not long after buying it (bought it private). They give you a courtesy car free of charge if you want one (Just incase you didn't already know). They offered me a Forester but the wife didn't fancy driving such a big beast, so I asked for something else and they kindly let us take the very 1st new shaped Impreza for the day. This was the very day they launched that model, so we had the 1st drive, sweet. Pity it was only the 1.5 litre though. You should ask and see if they will let you take the WRX version out, which they now have a few off at the garage.

Hey Baz, Was that you I passed this afternoon? Green Classic 'S' reg. I was traveling to Cupar on the Kingskettle Road in the Blue Blobeye WRX. We exchanged waves as we passed. I also passed 2 other Scoobs, 1 in front of you and 1 behind you but they just gave me the blank look. Stu.

I am from Fife, Kirkcaldy originally, now living in Glenrothes. Not had the Scooby long just a few months now. I always give a wee wave when I pass fellow Scoobs. Get some strange looks mind you! I am sure there are a number of peeps from Fife on here.

Standard '05 2.0 WRX. I fill the tank up to the brim with V-power once the fuel light comes on. This is a weekly event and i am currently averaging 296 miles to the tank. That is with a mix of mostly conservative driving and the occasional blast. Although i think my wife drives it like a loon when she has it!
