  6. Good morning Guys, Happy new year to you all, I have a question I know that I am going to sound really stupid but, I have a rocker switch on top of my steering colum on my 95 wrx import any ideas what it does, looked all round the car can not make any sense of it, I know its probably staring me right in the face, but what ever it is it's not working. (bloody manual is in japanese). ta, Simon.
  7. Thanks Basser I will get on to them this morning, give it a go. Happy New Year. Simon.
  8. Good luck with the soliceters Mark, I hope you get a good result, I do not know how some of these people sleep at night knowing what they are doing, they know how passionate we are about our cars (not just talking about scoobies either) I have a similar problem, I bought my car 3 months ago from an independant dealer, was told it had had a full mot when I got her home checked out all the paper work I found that it had 3 weeks mot only, phoned the garage they said no problem they will mot it I might add at this point I was there best mate at this stage then it all went horribly wrong, they got the mot done, but I was not happy with the car afterwards, I made a list of things that were wrong with the car are you ready for this, rear shock gone, brakes vibrating badly 10 wheel studs knackerd due to the wrong locking nuts, wheel nuts also knackerd because of this, rocker cover seal gone, steering rack gone two tyres had it on the inside (been run flat) Exhaust blowing needed welding, I took the car back they sorted some of the problems but I am still left with the oil leak, knackerd steering rack they only changed one shock absorber, the front discs are warped and the wheel nut problem is still a problem, The garage that has done the work for the independant deelers hands are tied as they have been told by the guy that sold me the car that they slipped up and if they had mot'd the car before putting it on the forecourt they would have put it on for at least another £1000, he did not want to spend any more money on it, I know this is not my problem but what do i do, had the car 3 months garage has had it for 1 month do not think I have done 1000 miles in it, have been to cab and the t**t that sold me the car will not even take my calls, I went from best mate to something he scraped of the bottom of his shoe over night, HELP, by the way quote for work to be done well over £1000, and i am now getting grief of my wife, don't get me wrong though this car is in show room condition and drives beautifully, I do not want to get rid of it just want some help with sorting it out from thi a***. Scoobychef.

Hi insane clown, The fuel out here is under half the price we pay, when you tell them that we pay 10 dollars a gallon they don't belive you. by the way the car is in the garage having a new steering rack and rear shocks fitted so she will be clean and mean when I pick her up on monday when I get home, that will be just before I see the missus and the kids..Scooby chef.
  13. I am stuck here in Bangor Main in the good old U.S of A on buisness, I will be here for at least another 4 days, missing my car nearly as much as I miss my missus and kids (have to say that she will probably read this) Its not as if I can look around and look at subaru's there just is not any around, all drive bloody great gas guzzling pickups with snow ploughs welded to the front... Help me roll on the next four days so I can get back to good old west sussex and kiss the bonnet of my beautiful car. sorry got a bit carried away there.........Scooby Chef.
