The only force in the UK known to use registered post or recorded delivery for speeding NIPs are Dumfries & Galloway.
simply not true, i know from experience. [
]
Ps not intended towards u, but in general, im sure Scoobydoom doesnt want to start talking shop every time he visits these forums.
-
oil wouldnt leak but u have to take out oil slip plate thingies out of box and weld them together. it has been done before but cant remember the link.
lol, at stephen
{we'd take the front drive shafts you disconnect then beat some sense into you with them.}

well i have an uprated thermostat and for what its worth u wont get any heat comming through the vents at all which is especiallly unhandy at this time of year. My temps when pushing, due to air flow throw rad, hardly get subaru temp sensor above min.
ps. i can live with metal fatigue [

very shinny [
] they fill the arches up nicely.

yip, i certainly think about what the consequences can be before setting off on a journey.
Driving is a privilage not a right. I also quite like being *cough* healthy and active.
As for the bobbys think they are well aware of the situation already.
Think the impreza cant be seen any worse in the general publics eyes than it is already. unfortunatly
-
dont use fog lights ever. even if its foggy u will still be pulled, no matter what. [
]
edit: yes i probably did fail attitute test, feckers.

1 - If your sidelights won't switch off look for the parking light switch on top of the steering column .
2 - Use the search function on the forum before asking the same old question .
3 - The best first mod for an impreza is the exhaust (backbox at least)
4 - Buy a newage
5 - Make sure you get regular quality oil / filter changes every 3 - 4000 miles
6 - Always run the car on good quality fuel - V Power/BP Ultimate/Tesco 99 and add octane booster for safety in an unremapped import
7 - Avoid "chip"ing an impreza - get it remapped by an expert like Andy Forrest (Apexi for classics, ECUtek for newage)
8 - Sell the Newage and buy a Classic
9 - Always wait till the engine is nice and warm before giving it full pelt and let it cool down befrore switching it off
10 - Upgrade your brakes before modding the engine
11 - A VTA dumpvalve isnt really a good idea unless your car is getting remapped to compensate for it. It will momentarily make your car run rich as the ecu gives fuel for air which has been dumped and not recirculated. All you are missing is the gay noise.
12 - Solid rear droplinks and a decent suspension geometry set-up are probably one of the best sub-£100 modifications you can do to a standard car.
13. new ages will undertseer when at the limit
14. If you have a classic get Strutt Braces. The improvement is outstanding! If you have a new age...no luck! loL!
15. Clean out the boost solenoid once in a while and dont fill engine oil right up to max.

ok at the request of phil heres the pm i sent him:
yes you guest it i have a bee in my bonnet.
I
joined sidc not aberdeen scoobies. Just feel that theres too much *****
regarding north/ south divide in scottish scoobies, but its only being
dished out by a few from the north.
Take the likes of craigs
post "im sick of this". Where he feels he aint getting enough praise
from the south. We all know he aint a shy guy and we will hear about it
anyway. Nowt wrong with that. But then while this is going on you all
change your aviators to the same picture. Is this not showing signs of
segregation?
And i have never been pleased about the ***** you
started regards RO. Are we better off? If you want to complain about an
individual on a public forum then at least have the decency to make
your self known and not hide behind some spoof account.
I am not going to spend friday night sat at my computer brooding. good evening. If you wanted to talk ari and dale have my number. You could use pm or email at anytime. No doubt there will be more responses and i shall see them when i next log in.

and pumps are driven directly so some may suggest a new water pump but mines done 140k and no service history. did nae bother. removed radiator when i did mine, gives a much better view, some professionals dont.
-
tensioner is usually sound. unfortunatly you can only feel idlers once your doing the job and these could need doing. get a legacy manual a lot of it is appropriate. i still refer to mine for torque settings but had a legacy before anyway.

no 215/40/17 or 215/45/17 so need to downstep and see what the equivelent is to keep speedo semi-accurate. though 16s are subaru specified so am sure theres the correct ratio some where on the web.
