  1. Maybe I misunderstood, but I didn't read anything about someone breaking into a house. But on your proposed method of dealing with intruders, I tip my hat to you. I keep a loaded Glock 22 in my bedside table.
  2. Just saw this. I actually have every one of those songs on my MP3 player.
  3. I was worried that they wouldn't be much of a mention of Colin in the overseas version, until I saw that I was starting out in one of his old X Games cars. There's a very moving tribute in it that I hope makes its way to Youtube.
  4. Well done to Grant, Imy, and everyone else involved. It looks like a spectacular event.
  5. The STi will "remain" a 2.5L with a singlescroll? The one I looked at in Tsuyama Japan was a dual-scroll 2.0L...
  6. People do this all the time in the US, even between newage and classic models. The wheel should be plug-and-play, so if the connectors are the same, you shouldn't have an issue. As far as the airbag goes, just make sure you disconnect the battery and leave the vehicle sit for at least 3 minutes before tampering with the airbag.
  7. Haven't seen it yet, but I'm planning on watching the episode tonight.
  8. Huh. Cost me about £10.00 to fill my tank today.
  9. First one was actually taken by my girlfriend while I was driving.
  10. IIRC, Block is running an equal-length exhaust manifold.
  11. Aye, I'm getting a couple shirts and the pictured shoes myself.
  12. I'm not sure if this has been posted, but if so, it's worth another look. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkrcomXmQ6E
  13. Here's a few shots from our trip to the beach a couple weekends ago. Heavy post-processing, not all for the better methinks. www.photos.com/flickr/t3hwit
  14. Have you considered one of these? I've got a couple of them myself. They work great for carting the children off to school, picking up a few days worth of groceries, or ripping an MX-5 into two.
  15. That sounds a bit fishy. I had S-Techs on my car for a year in the harsh PA snow and salt, and they looked just as good when I removed them as they did going in. Where did you purchase the springs from? I know that Tein had an issue with counterfeit springs a while back.
  16. I have a poster of the big jump, they were giving them away at the New England Forest Rally last summer. I watched a video of the making of that video, I'm not sure where though. They show various clips of the one huge jump he did. He actually went a couple mph too fast and overshot the landing, landing hard on the nose. The ballast in the trunk broke loose and popped the trunklid open, which prompted the epic clip of the SUBARU-stickered spoiler popping up and back down. The car was in pretty rough shape, and I believe Ken hurt his back.
  17. Found this posted on RS25.com. It was filmed in Edinburgh so it's relevant.
  18. Beautiful car, I love the color on it.
  19. Hey Imy! The roof vent is fully functional, I cut the hole myself with a Dremel in the parking lot of my flat. You can imagine the odd looks I was getting. It's getting warmer now (was out in shorts today) so I'll probably have it open for the next batch. Hopefully so. Our trip to the UK last summer included meeting with two groups of Subaru owners (CADS and SIDinersC). I think the only way to top that is to meet up with yet more clubs next time. Thank you sir. Thanks dude. What can I say, I lurk a lot. Not soon enough methinks. I want to return for a bit longer stay but I'm trying to go back to college and doubt I'll have the opportunity until I'm through. Thanks man. I have a few more things I'm working on, including a new exhaust setup, an HID retrofit, and hopefully a new steering wheel (Nardi Sport Rally) before not too long. I appreciate that dude.
  20. The grass is always greener I guess. Tempting. I'd love to live in the UK even as a temporary deal. I'm looking to go back to college and some schools offer study-abroad programs to the UK so that's always an option. Everything's in southern England though. I felt more comfortable in the Cheshire and Glagow regions. Thanks Grant. I will definitely be making a return trip to Scotland, allowing myself more than just a few days this time. Not to exclude anyone, but our stay in Scotland was one of my favorite parts of the trip. Thank you sir. I've never been to Florida but from what I've heard, I'd have to agree. South Carolina is part of the Bible Belt and it really lives up to it's name. I'm Roman Catholic and have no problem mentioning it, but I like to leave it at that. It's the Northern mentality I guess. Here in the South, they wear their religion like fine jewlery. I work at a Nissan dealership, and I rarely see a car that doesn't have some license plate, a keychain, a decal, or some other means for the owner to express why they're "holier than thou." I'm going off on a tangent here, but you get the picture. The "Southern" mentality stops just north of Virginia.
