  2. Yeah mate that Corsa is from Ayshire, I used to be a member of the Corsa C drivers club, (before I seen the light and got a scooby) and he went to a few meets with that car. James
  3. I've booked the Monday & Tuesday off work , as I will need the rest. I'm planning on just going the whole way home on the Sunday, but will just take it easy and cruise up the road. James
  4. Hi there mate, As far as I'm aware the convoy is not going to have cars sitting side by side, as I say im not 100% sure, but I was in the belief that the convoy would be one behind the other (with most motorways having 3 lanes) this gives other road users two lanes for overtaking. The actual people organising the event will have more accurate info tho mate. Cheers James
  5. Just got mine through the post today aswell, very, very impressed by the quality. Again Top Work by all involved. James
  6. I actually think it looks pretty smart mate, the orange and blue go better than I thought they would. I respect the fact that you are trying to break the mould graphic wise, rather than just going with the Rally Decals (which do look good tho) and instead trying something different. Like others have said though I aint to sure bout the "Shake & Bake" thing, maybe a McRae Tribute or something in its place would look good Cheers James
  7. No mate, no mention of the address
  8. Was looking at the Lanark Gazette today and found they have a little bit about the McRae Gathering on page 22. for those who cant get hold of one I will put what it said. Up to 3000 Subaru owners are to pay a unique tribute to tragic Lanark rally ace Colin McRae. A Group of Drivers will line up their cars on an English Track on Sunday August 31st, so the arrangement of the vehicles spells out the name Colin McRae. A Saltire flag will be laid during the ceremony, on the test track at the ProDrive facility in Warwick Colin was a successfully drivers for the Subaru rally team before his tragic death in a helicopter crash last September at the age of 39. A Subaru spokesman told the Gazette "This is a really fitting tribute to Colin and will be a fantastic event. It is great to have so many cars coming along" "It's not only a tribute to Colin, but to the impact he had on the population." The weekend tributes to rally legend McRae will begin on Saturday August 30th. when up to 200 Subaru owners set off from Lanark Market. The drivers will unertake a 320 mile pilgrimage to Banbury in Oxfordshire, bass of Colin's former Subaru team, Prodrive. From 10am on Sunday morning, these drivers will be joined by around 2800 other Subaru owners. (would probs have been easier to scan it into computer......but never mind ) Cheers James
  9. Looking very nice mate. They are decent pics considering there taken from a phone. Cheers James
  10. This event is going to be a Once in a Lifetime, a day none of us will ever forget. As said before though the only thing that could have made it any better is if we didnt have to do it in the first place Again top marks to all involved in the organising Cheers James
  11. Only places I can think of mate, is Subaru Dealer, Ebay, or Subaru Salvage. Sorry cant be of more help. James

  14. Yeah just realised that I had electric height adjust feel abit stupid now, ha ha. Thats them fitted now anyway, but I think I may have broke the adjuster on one of them but they appear to be working fine. Cheers James
  15. Hi there, My passanger side headlight was recently broke, so i decided to order a set of Crystal Style Headlights (manual one), for 98 Classic Impreza I went to fit them I noticed that there is no motor with the plug on them, so I removed motor from the old headlights, but the new ones have some large adjustable screw sitting where the motor should go, which means I cant get the motor fitted on them. Tried to remove the screw but it appears to just turn so much then stick, think it may be an adjuster for the new lights. Anyway to cut a long story short was wondering if anyone else has fitted these or knows of a way to get round this problem. Thanks James
  16. ha ha, lets hope its just a passing phase
  17. Thats a really nice looking scooby you got there mate, I actually really like them wheels, they suit the car rather well
  18. Personally I would leave the car plain, or maybe just a couple of graphics. The car in the pic looks OTT, only my opinion though mate. Cheers James
  19. Looks alrite mate, bit of bodywork needing sorted and a good clean, and you could have yourself a nice car there
  20. As been said before mate, the original vents look better, imo. Are the new scoops Carbon Fibre, if not they may look better colour coded silver to match your car. End of the day though, its your car so if your happy then great
  21. Hey, While travelling to work yesterday, a stone or something has hit my Passengers side headlight on my 98 Classic and smashed it. I've ordered a new headlight, but ws just wondering if any one had replaced their headlights and how easy they are to replace, or is it a job for a garage. Cheers James
