bogie replied to big den's topic in Scottish Scoobies
Wouldny call a chipo-latta fat! Looks guff to me too in either white or this blue No for me either and at £32,995 I could think of many better cars to spend that cash on, if I was ever going to spend that amount. -

What a cheesy bucket of kak

Anyone got the times for Sat, canny get program online now (lack of security put me off anyway) and definately won't be in the area before weekend to get one. Cheers Bogie

ebay item 250370243460, what a garage ornament this would be!
-
Aye, very sad outcome on this one, RIP little one. This time of year can be really bad, especially since some folk canny drive in the day-light never mind the dusky / darkness we now have at rush hour. I was behind someone tonight coming up the Cluny road about 5ish at 30mph breaking every time a car came the other way absolutely shocking. If ye canny drive in the conditions dinny bother!

Finally... I Am A Scooby Owner Again *** Photos Added Now ***

Get some snaps up, I'm contemplating doing what you've just done. Currently have MY07 WRX Wagon PPP with a few other bits n bobs, market may be too keech now to trade her away though, I ain't giving it away. So other option is to keep current scoob for toy and get an older jaloppy for week running. Then I saw all those stunning mk2's at Perth racecourse, mmm. My wife is well peeshed listening to all this :-) -
Don't sell keep it, you will regret it
-
I think in the current climate you'll be really lucky to even hit £10k private. If your looking to trade it in prepare for a real kick in the baws. Sore I know, but there are 05 STi's with PPP for around £13500. I'm going to stop looking!

Looking really good! How a new car should look when you collect it. I think they only give them a quick buff with a cheapo buffer and cheapo polish after removing the shipping wax. Nice transformation.
-
I saw it on Spicey's website the other week and went back a couple of days later for another look, it's actually the best hatch WRX colour by a mile, enjoy it!
-
Aye, I was teasing trying to swap my MY07 Wagon PPP for it
-
Incase you can't find it, here ya go: http://www.555subaru.co.uk/mods.htm#Splitter I fitted the Subaru ones with the clips at the top to my blobeye wagon, which was a wee bit more fannying aboot because the bumper is a slightly different size than the saloon, but the end result was worth it. The bolts and nuts listed worked fine for me at the bottom.

Yep sounds like a good idea, rather than hanging in the wardrobe never being out. I will hang it in the garage with my other bits n bobs.

The CAT delete isn't stamped Prodrive (it's made by Scorpian I think), they also refit the heat shields to the centre CAT delete. If you can get a peek through the opening of the bulgy bit, you should see the straight pipe going through with no CAT. They also have a boss fitted to the CAT delete pipe to take the lamda sensor. Looks pretty much how my 2.0 looked.
-
Depends if it's the 2.0 or the 2.5. 2.0 has a straight CAT delete, but the 2.5 has a stinky little silencer in there instead of the CAT, something to do with noise regs. I have removed this stinky wee silencer and the resonator and it sounds soooo much sweeter, although still not as good as my 2.0 sounded without any post PPP mods. Cheers

What about the crank sensor?

Looking really good. Gilvenbank park by any chance?

Yep all tarred with the same brush unfortunately for us. I canny see there being a u - turn on this policy, but we can but live in hope! If this policy was based on saving the environment, they would stop cars over a certain CO2 being sold altogether, but it's purely a cash milking exercise. Also some higher perfomance cars with double CO2 of scoob costing several time more still pay £400 well fair not!

No hatred for dealers, bought all my scoobs from main dealers and have a great relationship with the one I have used for the last 5 yrs and always got excellent deals (that's why I go back), never actually had a bitter experience at any of the Scoob dealers I've used to date. Just don't like to see Scoobs getting pushed into the market at silly prices, but if that's what's needed to shift them I'll just need bend over and take it! Doesn't hurt until change time anyway (that's the Scoob residual and not the taking it, ahem) Anyway glad the original GB270 in question is getting sorted
-
Yep, Gary knows his stuff, he was also sales manager at Town and County many moons ago too.
-
Whoa! Didin't know Eden Subaru had gone, just passed there the other week too. What a bummer.
-
We don't own / buy / want other manufacturers they can stay on the cheap deals, the mass manufacturers always had poorer residuals. Scoobs always used to have good residuals until they started getting given away. Changeover figure isn't all that matters when you get offered peanuts for your car you have spent a lot of time and money on. It is unfortunate right enough for the loyal Subaru people who get no loyalty in return but as long as there are other customers to be had that probably doesn't matter. Bring back the old days!
