The ad doesnt even say what engine its running...
" On the other hand, the RB26DETT and turbo piping is installed pretty clean. We could not find any numbers on this specific setup but many RB26DETTs can get 500bhp on the rolling road, I have print outs "
The RB26DETT is the engine that is fitted to Skyline GT-Rs from R32 to R34
500 would be a stroll in the park for that block and that thing would be a hoot to drive

Frieght to Japan aint gonna be cheap either if they use air freight on a repair and return basis.
As has been mentioned, take it to somewhere like WOS Engineering to see if they can repair it here in Scotland before sending the strut away on an overseas jaunt

Thats a pretty major flaw in the plan.
Passengers are for back roads and the clyde tunnel, the strip is for yourself

Depends on what model of boost controller it is. An early HKS EVC 1 boost controller will fetch in the region of £100 but the latest EVC 6 or S will be about £ 300.
Turbo timer, about £30 - £50

Project name is a cracker.
Have fun building the new incarnation of a great classic

That would be a damn good reason that too keep it quiet
Happy birthday big chap

Awesome
yeah that will be your next build, 26l with a massive turbo will surely get to the end of the strip before the filiment on the start light has extinguished and finish in Norway
How the hell you fit this in i dont know but i am sure you will find a way, maybe exyend the steering column through the car to the boot

Barry don't think much of Frank's big build , 2.65cc's that's rather small. 2650cc's going to be nearer the mark, knowing Frank he's heading for the moon and back . Forget all those 2.33's there're just for mortals. Frank's on a whole new wavelength!!!
Is this the Stevie w i am thinking of
If so you are responsible for more lunatics on this forum than that bad batch of Acid from the 80's
If not, welcome along to the greatest show on earth

I've met John @ JKP - he was going to do my red blobeye but I ended up selling the bugger. Seems like a throughly decent chap who certainly appeared to know his stuff (and made a braw job of Brian's hatch).
You might also want to try Ally at 360complete.net - I've used him (on my pishy focus) and he was good.
Is it the same guy that used to frequent the forums and subsequently moved to the dark side?

Not enough evidence as there is only 1 of them, and since there is only 1 of them.....................
Nut him Glasgow kiss style and let that be a lesson to him, when the Social Work take the child away ( for the cruelty inflicted on said child by making him wear a Police outfit )

Does this count?
It's coping with the snow quite well so far......
That wins for me
Guy in work has a cracking collection of Lambretta inc one form the early 60's. The one he rides mainly now has been repainted WR Blue with Gold wheels.
Love a good old sooty 2 stoke scooter, preferably with a foxes tail off the back, a dooket for my blues and the ability to wear shades at midnight

Impreza could've towed that out there no problems!
Yeah Craig, instead of taking piccies you should have got down there and dealt with the problem 4wd style
