  1. Currently at Prodrive and this car now resides in the heritage centre

Recently undergone a full ground up restoration costin £120000 and part of the remit was to make the car road legal.

It is also the first car Prodrive developed in 1997under WRC regulations

    Stunning in the flesh

  2. Once a year for a biggy Dave, keeps it special - it's also a tad expensive for people who may be struggling in the current climate.

Going back to the same venue is risky if you ask me, voted to reflect this :rotfl:

About £400 all in for fuel, food and accomadation for Imy and me, just over 1000kms

Once a year north and once a year borders (sept maybe)

Shell in Castle Douglas could be utilised to good effect as roads like the Devils Beeftub, Crawick rd, Gelston to Kirkcudbright and the road around the Machers are all within pissing distance of Castle Douglas.

    Just mt £4.60 worth

  3. Pondering our Tesco breakfast gay-off, the cup holder, TWO electric windows and a poofy alarm system makes you unquestionably Mr Half Ar$ed Tried To Be Stripped Out Gaylord 2010.

    I rest my case. :rotfl:

The alarm is a mandatory item staying in Beirut, so i get a not proven on that one

Guilty as charged on the 2 electric windows although.

  4. Bit below the belt that.

In one of the clips on YouTube the file is of a passenger riding in a blue newage, and I think, by the shape of the scoop, it is a bugeye. Scoobzie/Diablo/RACERX drives a blue bugeye. The driver in the clip isn't wearing gloves and it looks more like a spirited run out in the hills than a joyride in a nicked motor.

I just can't help thinking that there is something more to this than just some prat posting links he randomly found on YouTube.

Where is Milton by the way?? :rotfl:

    Possilpark.

  5. Grant fantastic videos m8 truly superb :rotfl:

Would love to see the drive by video!! at the bridge :rotfl:

The drive by and the run after the bridge stop will be next to finish editing and up load.

Final one will be the run down to the Falls of Shin, unfortunatly/fortunatly the camera was not recording at the time of its demise so i will never know who ran over it and sent it to the camera valhalla

  6. Fair one, I knew that he was complaining about them taking a lot of time to upload, I thought that it would be up already... Firgured that there may have been a problem with it...

Oh, and yer damn tooting... I'm almost worried about it... :rotfl:

Original file was 5gb in 720HD.

Google video stopped uploads last year so i had to look for plan B

Have resorted to splitting it into 3 parts and putting it on Tubeface, last part uploading as i type. All being well we should have the full run from Lochcarron to the summit in a few hrs.

Part 1 is on Youbook just now but not public and sadly they have butchered the quality

Think i have enough raw audio and matching footage for another 2 "episodes" at 20 min roughly each. Day 2 leaving Ullapool and the run after the photostop, so all being well i hope to have these up within the week if not then early next.

Eventually will have all in 1 hr long video in super HD with fannytastic sound

I have a donkey to visit this weekend so bear with me

    EEEEE OOOOOOO

  7. Best weekend i have had behind the wheel in any vehicle in a very long time

Gratitude to Dave and al for the sterling preperation work that went into making a fantastic weekend even more fantastic

Molly also thanks you, EEEEEE OOOOOOOO

Got to be same again next year

Managed to capture about 30 gig of footage so will sift through the literally hours of stuff over the next day or 2 and take it from there.

Banana never missed a beat all weekend and it answered every question it was asked with a very positive answer. She still goes well on the 95 ron map and at one point i had to switch the boost controller off on the Applecross rd as 1.4bar is way to much for a road like that

Great to meet some old faces and some new ones too

  8. Was thinking of doing this run but didnt get the clutch, brakes and NOS sorted in time. Looks like everyone had a great time, and as you said, the roads up there are superb with views and scenery to match

    Marty.

Marty, you would have loved that outing this weekend

Hopefully see you at the next one in the batmobile

  9. Thing is, you dont need to achieve any kind of speed to get your kicks off that road. Most fun around the national speed limit i have had behind the wheel in a long time.

More fun tomorrow apparantly but tonight we have taken over Ullapool with great fury and furious anger

  10. Yup i think it was yesterday a grey classic 'booting' it up through the woods at cartland bridge hotel towards carluke nearlt took the nose of my wifes car, nice.

There are a few special people

Thats special as in minibus trip trip to the beach with a bib and headbrace on special and not Carlsberg special.

Tw@t in P1 with Lexus lights and reg ends in BHP, you get my vote for the sheer style that you joined the M73 slip road from the outside lane just 1 inch prior to the grass verge that seperates the 2 motorways, the way you cut up a 40 tonne truck was a joy to behold and quite simply the way you scraped your exhaust along that Mini's front bumper was a sight i am glad i witnessed as i never knew people could take risks like that in such a nice* car.

*nice as i blind man on acid shopped at Halfords when they were low on stock

If my s****hole Sprinter went faster than 65mph i would have fecking stopped you and throttled you till you turned the same colour as your Barry White mobile

  11. Can confirm the one that Grant has is 'quite' good

If i recall, big burgy was able to lift my car up when attached! :)

Grant, what happened to the vids you took that day?

Still on my laptop till i get some more footage
