  3. All in the throttle control and a couple of psi extra all round helped Total all in was about 700 miles ....and the figures above were total consumed big chap
  4. Glasgow to Banbury burning 45 litres, 24 litres at London rd Shell to start her off with a full tank and another 22 litres at Charnock Richard on the M6. Filled back up in Banbury with tesco 99 and it then took 23 litres. My fag packet calculations work out at about 33 mpg, which is not too shabby for a 2 Litre turbo charged short geared rocket. Banbury to Glasgow 12 Litres of fuel consumed, this is a trick maybe one day i will reveal but at the moment it is between me and my conscience Granted it turn out to be a 27 hour day from driving it at circa 60 mph and the weather all the way down the M6 was dire of the highest order. Nice one Mr Subaru

  11. Oh been there done that Been trying to angle it at the pax seat for ages now
  12. Will be stopping off at Happendon tomorrow to see if that statement holds any truth. Even if the engine is fubar i reckon there will be still enough salvagable bits to make the lifting of the block into the back of the van worthwhile. Stick some tennis balls in the combustion chamber and stick it on Ebay as a competition block, one nutter of an owner
  13. So the Roger Clark car could qualify as it is road legal as well What about Andy's Blue car or even the White one?

  15. If i was Jim i would take great heart from that statement. RCMS claimed the sticker on the bonnet gained them at least a half second a lap round Knockhill at Time Attack and i am sure Jimser's also benefited from the same performance mod Well done everyone involved Aint SS a grand place to be
  16. Looks awesome and the fact she is road legal is a brucie bonus A Grp A backbox in ceramic would look immense hanging off the back of that bad boy, may know where to source one if you are interested. Best of luck for the rest of season. PS the Plate is a peach

  20. When he switched on the Anti Lag System when i pootled through the Clyde Tunnel at 20mph had me shaking like a leaf with excitement, so much so i had to pull over for a smoke Spool on the 321T is awesome considering it is still 2 litre capacity. Chassis feels so tight compared with a classic and it stops on a halfpenny, this car is making me consider my infamous Classic rules warcry. 15 out of 10 Jim
  21. What a bloody car After my wee test drive i think Jim is being slightly conservative with his power estimates Truly awesome machine Right up there with Callum's Millenium Falcon
