  2. Yeah I'm starting to get pretty excited about it now
  3. Ok guys, Rather than reply to each question individually I'm now going to attempt to answer them all in one go (so if I miss anything please shout): Mud Flaps Not an issue - if need be the front ones can be moved out of the way of the rollers. Times Paul would like to start at 9.30 a.m so if we can start getting there from 9 a.m onwards this will be perfect. Unless you want a specific time it will be on a first come, first served basis. He is also going to draw up an imdemnity form to be signed as well. Data Printouts Power and torque at wheels and flywheel readouts and then a boost and air/fuel mix readout. Advice On The Day Info will be available from the printouts and then Paul can take a separate discussion about particulars and advise. Payments No deposit required, pay on the day. Cash is preferable but 'debit' card is ok. 'Credit' cards will have a 2% surcharge added. Think that just about covers it all. Cheers, Rach
  4. Now I won't tell you why the engine let go on the 'R' last year BUT.......................................................... Only joking! ( I'm dead when he sees this)
  5. Stu, I admit defeat - you've beaten me fair and square!
  6. I've just had to dig into the the deep and murky depths of my understairs cupboard to find these - excuse the quality of the pics but they are 22 years old: And for you mean so and so's who want a good laugh at my 1980's perm....................................................TAA DAA!!!!!!!!!!! Well I was young, that's my excuse
  7. Ah Matty, my little girl was gorgeous, I'll see if I can find some pics of her later and post them up (as long as there's some without me in them with my dodgy 1980's perm lol).
  8. Yep, it's definately the "R" factor in this household!
  9. Mine was a 1982 X reg Ford Escort 1.3L in Sunburst Red (how sad I still remember the name) Cost me £1500 I bought it because it was a 3 door and at 18 looks were everything (what am i on about I'm now 39 and they still are). I sold it to the scrap man after I blew up 2 engines in 3 years - and yes guys I DID put oil in it! Oh yes and as with all my cars she did have a name - this one was called "Rebel"
  10. Absolutely mate, you're more than welcome the more the merrier. Would you like to go on at any particular time to allow for your travelling? Cheers, Rach
  11. Hiya, 11-12 should be fine, I'll be sorting out times on the rollers over the weekend/early part of next week so I'll get you on around midday if you want. Paul is now a "one man band" so to speak so i can't say for definate whether he'll be able to help you out on the day but I need to speak to him over the next couple of days so I'll let you know. Hope this helps, Rach
  12. Hiya, Things will be starting at Zen from 9 a.m - what sort of time do you think you'd be able to make it? Rach

  14. Hi All, Just to let you know there will not be a "meal meet" in March as I'm going to treat the Rolling Road day at Zen as the Bedfordshire Scoobies monthly meet so the next meal will be in April - date to be confirmed. Cheers, Rach
  15. Well it would certainly make sure the scoobs were nice and warm wouldn't it?
  16. That's what I like to hear.
  17. Yes a convoy will be arranged from Bedford, collecting any others who want to join us along the way. I'm thinking of meeting in Bedford around 7.45 am and then going onto the McDonalds at Wellingborough for 8.30am so we can grab a cuppa before a 5 minute blast down the dual carriageway to Zen. Obviously, these are only rough times and if anyone else wants to meet up please let me know and I'll adapt route/times to suit. Cheers, Rach
  18. Hi Steve, No problem mate, you can pay on the day either cash or card Cheers, Rach
  19. Don't forget you need to be sorted out ready for the meet Saturday night!

  22. Hi and welcome to SIDC Let us know what area you're from and we can point you in the right direction for meets etc Rach
  23. Hi guys, Just a quick update, we've been over to Zen again today and Paul has some guys lined up as well so we should have a minimum of 15 cars on the rollers. We're looking at getting over there for 9 am so that we can all get sorted and the first car running for about 9.30 am. Any questions please don't hesitate to give me a shout. Cheers, Rach
