shocking to hear about this, the joke of it is, a wrx is a very hard car to crash unless you plain and simple havent got a clue !! I was paying £1800 a year to insure my P1 in 2003 when I was 28 ish, cant imagine what young kids are payin these days !!

Yes guys, I had a big row with my gf she's 21 im 33, of course she claims she can drive fast cars and is a great driver. And she pays £1800 a year for a MG TF ! Im not slating young drivers, but I do thing a power output restriction maybe an idea upto 21 years old or higher, but then I guess there are ways round everything as 4hero says if they were in a tin can corsa it would be worse, and of course these can be made to go fast aswell ! I just hate hearing about young drivers, everytime it comes on the radio I cringe, the familys suffer so much over it.

regards that yellow skyline mate, the owner is MISSING think he was perhaps involved in some stuff which he perhaps shouldnt have been LOL Ive seen the silver classic also, im still trying to find the Typre R on an R plate silver one that pulled away from the WR1, I know who used to own it but havent got any further than that, its got a 2.5 conversion, motec, ap's etc.

Heard it on MFR aswell guys, only noticed as they stated subaru impreza, just to make it sound bad I imagine, what a mess though, it does give me concern that guys that age can get these cars, atleast they are all alive.

Think ive seen it about aswell, also a 02 sti bug eye out mosstodloch way aswell.

scoUK thanks mate, yes I did live out at milltown, however I split with the wife and moved into town, I stayed at silver crest for a while however that wasnt my WR1, I know the chap your on about and he has since sold it. Hi bud, I buy and sell scoobs all the time. Your looking at 9k !! Main problem for you is colour. However its clearly well maintained so private sale hopefully youd get 9.5k 12k-12.5k is the price for a 03 sti with ppp with less miles than yours.

hiya mate, yeh its Jasons old car, im gonna text him and see who he sold it to, I thought when I first saw it go past when I was at a junction that I knew the car, but it just didnt click. I know he was running Motec with a 2.5 bottom end conversion, the car was rapid, and clearly still is, this being the case though the WR1 did well

Well im on my 8th scoob ive had them all !!! Version 8 sti would be my advice for you mate, but you'll need another 2k to get just the right one, you may manage a v8 sti ppp for 12k which is great ive got one of them as my daily driver. Type R very nice, but most have had a hard life and now 10 year old nearly !! same goes for P1's.

Dam that sucks, did they find you thru ebay or something ? Im same as you mark, got two cars blocking my garage where the wr1 is kept, and all my keys go in the safe at nights so I know they wont get the keys. Also my garage is integral under neath my master bedroom, so one sound and il will be down there within seconds, but I guess by the time you wake it can be to late, so gutted for you bud.

ahhhhhh thank god for that mate, yes thats the car !!! the more I think about it the more he set me up for the standing start so he could have me LOL haha superb, it was certainly fast, upto 100mph he gained i dont know 3-5 car lengths on me from the standin start, I was VERY surprised as the WR1 is rapid to 60 !! thanks for solving the mystery bud,. any more info appreciated.

lol no mate it was last night and it was dry !! only out for 30 mins !! Well if you do find out mate, let me know what mods he has, as it was FAST !! slightly faster than the WR1 !! Granted I did have 3 large men over 20 stone in the car which wouldnt have helped !!

cheers guys, yeh it definitley had a loud full system on it !! As I was behind and couldnt get past LOL The WR1 couldnt keep up with him. It had standard rear lights though, sti version 5 type r on an R plate ??

Just wondering as id like to have a chat with him , see what mods he is running.
