I would say quite possibly the fuel. I have a MY03 (blobeye) WRX and on the inside of the fuel flap there is a sticker that says "98 RON MINIMUM", and this is on a UK car. I have always filled up with V-Power or Tesco 99 and once when I was away with work the wife put in standard and said it didn't sound right and didn't feel like it did before. When I got home it was nearly empty so filled back up with the good stuff and it was fine. Run a few tanks of V-Power/Tesco 99 and then see how it's going.

As said above, nothing extra is needed for this. What Andy will do is set it up for a low and high boost setting and to change from one to the other you just have to put the foot to the floor and double press the rear de-mister button. Also worth remembering (and I'm sure Andy will tell you this as well!) if you disconnect your battery or it goes flat then the ECU will default back to the low boost setting, so you will need to change it back to high boost using above mentioned method! I remembered this after changing the steering wheel the other day and thinking "this feels a bit weak" when I drove off later!! Only ever set mine in low boost when I'm going away with work and there's a chance the wife will be driving the car!!

Having said that, they really do a sh#t hot job, had them do my CTR when some plank went up the side of it, had to replace rear 3/4 panel which was a cut out and reweld job due to 3 door design and sort the drivers door - honestly you would never know it had been in an accident! I used to work next door to them and every single day there was a lot of high end motors sat there - Porsches, Astons, Ferraris, some seriously stunning stuff!

Nope, a tax disc is valid from the moment it's issued, but you can only apply for it 14 days before the end of the month, this allows people plenty of time to do it so there can be no excuse for having an out of date disc.

Yeah, but she wasn't done for not having tax, she was done for the seperate offence of not displaying a valid tax disc, it's pish I know. A mate of mine got a fine off a traffic warden for non-display, his disc was sat at home and I'd said to him on the Thursday night he'd better put it in before the weekend and he forgot. There was an address on the ticket where he could write to appeal and he did, stating that he had a valid tax disc but when he put it in his tax disc holder it slipped in behind the old one, basic human error and he'd be more vigilant in the future. This got him off of paying the fine.

Don't think it's too difficult mate - just a case of removing old badge (in 1 piece!) or sourcing a new genuine one, scraping off the paint on the rear and repainting in your choice of colour - at least this used to be the case with Ford badges! For St Andrews cross I'd do the whole thing white then mask off the cross and go over it with blue - jobs a good 'un!!

First time ever down at Crail yesterday and had a great day out!! Was good to see so many cars out and the weather held for the day which was an added bonus! That was some run Higgy, I was stood with Simmie (Green wagon still under construction!) and when we told him it was a low 11, well, I can't repeat what he said on a family forum!!! Good to have a quick chat and have a proper look at the beast within whilst you ran off for another extinguisher!

And on that note Dale..... It's a Green filter I have on mine, not had any problems with it and would happily reccomend it to anyone.

Don't worry Dale, I've heard that before as well. The EBC discs I'm running on the rear are grooved and "dimpled" - instead of cross drilled they have small blinds bored into them to help with the removal of gas in the same way cross drilling did but without the risks of stress cracks forming from the holes. The Prodrive kit states 17" min alloy size as well, and yes, it is the shiz!
