i like my bc's but quality can be hit and miss from set to set - teins are great quality but too harsh for our roads, reckon il be putting a set of kw's on my car at some point in the next year so if you can save enough id go with that
Like these Dave?

Host your pics on something like Photobucket.
Once this is done you can click the picture icon which you see above the box you type your posts in, if you hover over it it says Insert Image, paste the link for your pic in here and then click the insert image button
Alternative is to just paste the Photobucket (or other) link inbetween tags

Welcome to SIDC, keep your eyes on the road and not the wipers
-
That username was asking questions about a WR1, so presume he had one Mark?

With brakes bigger is almost always best.
You would notice a big difference moving up to Brembos, especially if you use very good quality discs and pads. Locking won't be a major issue, although you will be able to lock them at will

Lifts out the top no bother Kenny, need to make sure the system is bled properly before driving Oh, and mind anti-freeze

Welcome along to SIDC, the GB270s were special editions in saloon and wagon. I'm not sure of the actual extras, someone will be along to fill in.
Weight wise they'll be in the 1500kgs bracket I reckon. Standard ride will be firm but ok, many will have had coilovers fitted though.
Good luck with your search

Welcome to SIDC, nice looking hatch, and soon you'll be told it's the best colour. Which it's not of course
Who's that 'photo bombing' your pic (not the cement mixer)

Are the cables sticking a bit with the frost Neil? Try leaving it off for a night if you can and see what happens?

Looking forward to hearing you in the Glens next year Andy

Hi. I have a 2007 sti with the Blitz nur spec r and it's great. I had the stock Sti exhaust on before hand. I'm a big fan of the burble so I went straight for this cat back exhaust. In my opinion you tube clips dont do the sound justice. This is a LOUD exhaust and been told i can be heard from miles away, however on motorway journeys your aware of it but cruising at 2,500-3,000 rpm you can have a conversation without the need to shout. Also think you need to have deaf neighbours are they will moan! I'm now used to the noise and want to go louder again by removing a cat from the system
I've had no other experiences with other exhausts so cant compare it with anything else except the standard sti exhaust and this is just my opinion. Shame you dont live a bit closer or i could have taken you out in the car for you to hear it.

Blitz is VERY loud, be sure you want that before committing
Have you removed the second cat or resonated section yet? If not, do that first - H&S amoungst others do decent replacement parts - and no remap needed. It makes the noise a lot better and you'll probably find your Ninja silencer is fine.

You could get the second cat deleted, this will free some noise up but still allow the car to pass emissions test, number two in the pic.

Teins can be repaired here in the UK at Chevron Motorsport for example.

At least it is sorted now (touch wood) and I can carry on with my big power plan
That's the spirit

Looking at this pic
What parts did you have changed/upgraded?
-
-
Upload your pics to Photobucket, or similar, then copy and paste the direct link from the pic on Photobucket and put it between these tags
Good luck
