from what i can tell bigger brakes, 6 speed box, that dif thingy , better suspension but the best/coolest thing is the little button u press for watering the intercooler, cool. oh and in this case about 100 horses, woohoo.

yes and may go on the new one too, its coming of the old one for sure. Wheels are going with the old car though.

Sad to say its time for me to give up my 03WRX. Had the car almost 4 years now with many good runs with the guys and gals from the glasgow runs but i feel the time has come to get my grubby wee paws on an 55STI . Has 23000 miles on clock and apart from the ppp, very standard , very clean car. hopefully picking it up on Sat. Hope to meet up with u guys soon. Heres some pics. Out with the old..... thx for replies guys but it turns out i had them on upside down so all the bleeding and which order was for fa. Got them all sorted anyway.

just found out that i might have been bleeding them in the wrong order. I did it furthest from servo to nearest to servo but its supposed to be front passenger, Rear driver, front driver, rear passenger. Can anyone confirm this for me.

Hi all, i fitted my new brembo front calipers and discs today, front and rear, but now the brake pedals goes to the floor when the car is running. Ive bled the nipples 3 times each and there doesnt seem to be any air coming out them just fluid. Anyone got any advice? car is stuck up on axel stands for the night Forgot to say its MY03 WRX.

one other thing, will the pcd on my car be 5x100?

thx for the replies guys. i got the new thread inserted no probs so just a case of getting them painted up and fitted.

The wheels are prodrive 7 spokes and to me there looks like **** loads of space between them and the calipers. It does come with the bolts but 1 of them is stuck in the thread, m8 just called me about that 1 and says the thread is rounded. Hes goping to fit a new insert and re thread it for me to the same size. Whoever fitted it must have put it in wrong thread.

Ok guys, i got a full set of brembo calipers + discs of a MY04 STI. Now wot i need to know is will they fit directly onto MY03 WRX? If not what will i need? I have a feeling i might need the little extensions but not entirely sure. If i do where will i get them? Wheel clearance will not be a problem as i have 18" wheels but what about the wheel alignmemnt, is that the same? Cheers in advance guys. John.

Need advice from all the tech boffins here. I need my timing belt changed since its a few miles overdue but what i want to know is it necessery to fit the full kit or will i get away with just the belt? Car is a 03WRX with 75,000 miles on the clock. No mechanical issues im aware of. Any advise welcome. Cheers.

i got offered 3k for my03 wrx with 70k miles last month on a px, nuff said.

thanks for the nice comments guys the cost all in was 260 quid. it was an extra £10 per wheel for that colour. they were away for 3 days but u can get a 1 day service if u leave your car (which i didnt know about) but its prob extra so make sure 1st. I think they go welll with my carbon scoop and will look even better when i get my windows tinted. Just have to get my brake calipers painted now but not sure what colour, any ideas?

well i finally took the plunge and changed the colour of my wheels. put them on this morning and was bricking it in case i didnt like them but i love them. they look bigger and for some reason make my car look lower, strange. got them done at powdertech in glasgow and a big thanks to Scoobysailor for borrowing me wheels, cheers mate. any comments welcome. thought i would add a before picture in case anyone hasnt seen a blue scoob with gold wheels before

Hi guys, im getting my wheels refurbished this week but the problem is i dont have a spare set of wheels and tyres. Any chance anyone has got a spare set i could borrow for a bit? I wont be doing many miles on them and condition doesnt really matter (as long as they are legal). I will collect them and return then to the owner. I live in the lanarkshire area so the nearer the better. thanks in advance.
