  1. Hi folks, So, with all this bad weather I've been staying indoors but went out this afternoon for the first time. It was an essential journey.....the missus sent me to Tesco to get fairy lights for the tree!!!! Our roads aren't too bad but still slippy with the freezing conditions. I had my daughter(2) in the back and doing about 20mph max. I'm slowing down as I approach a sharpish bend and I see an old guy approaching, looking a bit fast. As we're passing I see his back end pop out, missing me by a couple of feet, and see him fishtail for 40yds before getting it under control. Apart from thinking that he was an ar$e for driving like that in those condtions, it made me think just how lucky you can be. We were the only 2 cars on that stretch of road at that time. If I'd been 5 or 10 secs slower, he might've been right into me. If someone had been behind me, they would have got him head on!!! Drive safe everyone
  2. As much as it is the 'dark side'....I quite like them as well! Would maybe even contemplate one if there isn't a scooby shape to my liking by the time it comes to get a newer one.
  3. Changed? On the site? Onwards and upwards!! I imagine you've got a bit more snow than us?
  4. Nice. When you getting that package on your car then Andy?
  5. Wow! Assuming the Veyron was 'trying', that's an awesome GTR. Would love to know the spec. I know Litchfield do a 750bhp package but think I've read about some 1000bhp GTR's!
  6. Have a Google for more of those pics. Some crackers......and amazingly real!!!
  7. I sometimes have trouble getting out my drive but the scoob has been fine....compared to our Scenic!
  8. Photoshop anyone?
  9. Couple of pics...no straight on ones though.
  10. HT Autos for about £100 or would that not look the part? Is the snow just too deep? My car is quite low at the front but have survived so far (touch wood!) Haven't been the first car onto a road with fresh snow though!
  11. Hello and welcome mate. Where are the pics?!!!
  12. Congratulations to those incoming and thanks to those outgoing .) Matty....youre welcome up here. Bring a warm coat
  13. Hope it's signed by 'the greats'...Samaras, Ledley.....any of the team that played today!!!!!
  14. Me personally, yes. Not because I've got them but apart from the practical reasons, I think they 'fill a gap' as well. Can't go wrong with these http://www.scoobyparts.com/acatalog/copy_of_copy_of_STI_STYLE_MUDFLAPS__NEW_AGE_.html or http://www.performancecreations.co.uk/subaru-impreza-new-age-rallyflapz-range-48-c.asp I think it was the Performance Creations ones I got. I think they look good.
  15. Another happy BC customer
  16. Looking forward to driving mine again today. First time since the end of Sept!! That probably doesn't help?!?
  17. Hello there mate C'mon the wagons indeed!!!
  18. Looking good mate I don't actually know what some of the parts are....but nice all the same
  19. Quality. I've seen a Merc ML something or other with AMG underneath it. Pity the AMG was in a completely different style of letters!! Why!!!!??
  20. Chris, if you speak to Ian Godney, he may mention EBC Bluestuff. Apparently they've re-jigged their pads and the Bluestuff are getting rave reviews on Scoobynet. Folk are saying they work well from cold. Ian quoted me £110 for front pads to fit a 330mm disc.
  21. Noel is selling his MY07 Spec D in the for sale section. Maybe get in touch with him?
  22. I think my Prodrive backbox is a 2.5 inch one? If you have a look on all the usual places like Scoobyworld etc, it'll tell you the diameter and it's up to you. You could always get a custom exhaust made which would be exactly how you want it
  23. Glad you sold the car at last John
